Wow. After a Sunday like yesterday I had to clear my head and re group. My original stance was to take today off, but I have thought differently after a night's sleep. Instead I will narrow my picks down to two plays as a confidence builder headed into Tuesday's full card. So let's make two plays that will work.
Rockies vs. Brewers Over 8 -105 : This play screams to me off the card. Brewers i'm sure are chomping to get back home, while the Rockies would just love to swing away after that dreadful offensive performance in Pittsburgh. Thanks to Chacon and Capuano's round 3.00 era we lucked out to have such a low total. Both of these squads are capable of hitting the heck out of the stitched roundball. And tonight I think they will. In all honestly even if one team shows up I think they will put this thing over because the other squad will at least score 2runs. Play the OVER.
Indians +102 : Nothing better than going a few miles away to play against the struggling Reds. Who by the way brought in their batting practice pitcher in the 9th to help the entire Indian team find their stroke. I can't believe how friendly of a state Ohio is when it comes to their professional sports franchises. Anyways I think the Twins are ripe for the picking tonight. I don't think they will have their full motivation in this opening game. Don't get me wrong the Twinkies are a competitive team ,but I just have a hunch their pitching will let them down tonight. Take the DOG here.
