I really like portland st here. Playing in Alaska Portland will have the benefit of being in the same time zone.

NIU Hasn't beaten anyone of any stature, and hasn't shown any type of skill this year.

Have to go with Portland -8.5 here.

What do you think about the O/U? I'm looking for some late night action.

absolutely no offense intended...but your time zone angle has been factored into play by everyone...merely words of caution...BOL

Would play the over here if anything. Wouldn't go big on it. Wouldn't take the over for the first half though.

I was looking at these teams 2nd half totals and it seems like the over (whatever it is), might be the best play here.

Only reason I throw in the time zone angle is because they are playing so late at night. I just feel portland will be a little more awake. Will it help the fact, nah, but portland st should rip NIU appart regardless.

Yep, portland st avs 78 for 75 against
While NIU avgs 72 for 71 against

The over is 150.

First half, these teams avg 33-36 port st, 33.5-30 NIU. ( I don't know what the first half line is)

The line for the first half is 71.5. What time does the game start? My book is showing 1:45 A.M. Eastern. Is that correct?

so you guys are saying take the over but stay away from the spread? I'm going to play a little tonight and hope I can recover from the horrid night I had thanks to Purdue and Denver.
