It honestly was baffling how this shit was on for more than a week - nothing but news of made up racism, Ferguson, Occupy Wall Street, taxes, unfair lives, etc., - so glad to know that left leaning people are not all total fucken kooks

MSNBC is switching their agenda from far left wing to allegedly centrist but that's not newsworthy?

We've been over this. Liberals don't watch msnbc in mass. The media thing is for republicans. That's why fox news wins ratings, conservative radio talk show hosts make millions and conservative books are best sellers. Conservatives need leaders and mouthpieces to tell them how to think. That's why they are widely known as sheep. We've been over this before

That sucks - i always viewed the bull Maddow, the sissy Hayes and the racist Al as the face of the Democratic party

No, they just glue their eyes to it.

Sure scotty....that's why a liberal president gets over 50 percent of the vote the last 2 elections but conservative tv and radio stations have 4 times the viewership when compared to the one liberal news network.

That’s because 50% of the voters are trough feeders.

how bout bill o'reilly blasting Brian Williams about lying about covering a war when o'reilly just got caught for doing the same thing. that's a pretty common thing for the highest rated news program hosted by a complete fool.

Wrong. His accuser doesn't have the balls to go on his show because he knows O'Reilly would destroy him and his false claims.

his "show"???????? you are right, it is a show. nothing factual about it. the guy has already proven him a liar and it has been collaborated by his employer at the the time. what is there to talk about???????? if bill can prove different, let's see it. i'm sure if it was a moderated debate his accuser would surely attend. why would he go on a show where a goofy retard just yells over everyone and is not concerned with fact????

His show or moderated debate, I doubt the Fox throw away shows up anywhere to debate this.
Unlike the Williams story, this will be a dead issue soon.

I am not an O'reilly apologist by any means but I would love to see a link showing O'reilly blasting Brian Williams. I saw him defend him on Kimmel and have attached a link.

Additionally, on Monday CBS News put out a video from 1982 seemingly backing up most of O'reilly's story.

Where did you get this information? I would appreciate a link to confirm your statements

The poster stated that O'reilly slammed Williams, he did not. He actually showed compassion for Williams. Chastising correspondents in general and attacking Williams are two entirely separate issues. On three separate occasions he defended Williams personally.

Corn definitely had motive to slam O'reilly and Fox. I can't stand O'reilly, I think he is rude and obnoxious but what is fair is fair.

Ronan Farrow was a pathetically bad hire. Just a poor broadcaster for an hourly show. It looked like Public Access stuff early on, and I gave up. Sharpton's show is a joke, and I hope it is cancelled.
MSNBC would never get strong ratings as a left leaning station. Moderate and Left leaning people don't need constant affirmation that they're not crazy, and that others think like them, like the Fox News Viewers do. MSNBC would be foolish to abandon that market, however, because they are the only one left. If they just go for bland, no opinion hosts, their ratings will be worse, because CNN already has that niche covered.
They need more good BROADCASTERS. Fox News has good Broadcasters. O'Reilly, Hannity, whatever I think of them, are good, experienced Broadcasters, who know how to move a show and entertain. Only Maddow, O'Donnell, and Schultz do on MSNBC to a degree, but they haven't had a really, really good Broadcaster since Olbermann.
It's Phil Griffin that should be fired. Anyone that hires a Sharpton, a Farrow, and expects good ratings is in the wrong business.

Watch the 2/11 talking Points memo. Whether you want to call it Bill O "Blasting" or "Slamming" Williams is subjective, but he did say Williams had to go. There may be other instances on his show where he talked about Williams? I don't know, I rarely watch. He did show personal compassion for Williams, and he deserves credit for that. http://www.billoreilly.com/video?chartID=556#play
