Just an excuse to post a few pics of Victoria Beckham really..
Tomorrow night David Beckham will play his third game in a Real Madrid shirt when his new club faces a Chinese national XI in Hong Kong.
The 90 or so minutes he spends on the pitch will probably represent one of the longest periods he has endured without telephoning his wife Victoria. "I speak to my wife and family 20 times a day," Beckham said. "I've really missed them on this far east trip but I'm sure the other players have missed theirs too."
Some people have predicted that they will now live a semi-separate life with Victoria and their two sons largely remaining in England while Beckham trains in Madrid, but the England captain was quick to quash such rumours.
"We will all be living in Madrid once we have found a house," he said. "Victoria will obviously have to go back to England from time to time for her work but our main home will be in Spain."
Beckham, who once thought he would follow Alan Shearer's example and shun opportunities to play abroad, admitted: "I do miss pie and mash and jellied eels but you make different decisions at different times in your life and, although I didn't want to move abroad before, it feels right now."
