Ok, that is funny. I came back home from the pool for two reasons (really just to make a Bloody Mary).

1. I asked my wife what she thought if I were to propose packing the kids into the SUV and driving to Orlando for a vacation. Her verbatim reply was: “Honey, I wouldn’t think of sucking your dick for 2 years.”

2. The newsletter I “steal” my write-ups from released a huge play today so I thought I would share:

Blue Jays at Mariners:
Hutchinson comes into this game having recently battled the flu and in his last three starts he is 1-1 with a 6.32 ERA. Additionally, on the road this year Hutchison has a terrible 8.81 ERA

Conversely, in his only career start against Toronto, Happ is 1-0 with a complete-game shutout. Seattle is also 3-1 vs the Blue Jays this season so I’m taking the home team.

Play (listed): Seattle Mariners +118

Now guesser, vittard, and wabitch can giggle and squeal if Toronto wins.

Ace I hope you hang around but please in this thread let's stick with only picks and game discussion and save the "You are so dumb it's surreal" for the other threads.

Since you contributed this Pick I'll say my numbers here go the other way. But taking into account the flu and the price rise toward -130 I passed here. I have TOR 5-2 in Hutchison's Afternoon starts while SEA is 1-8 starting Happ in Daylight. I also have SEA 4-18 last 22 off a Win, and 9-19 facing an opponent King Felix defeated in their previous game.

This one was hard for me to peg.

Happ is a better pitcher at home than on the road, but he absolutely blows against semi-competent offenses. If anything, the Jays TT o4 looks good to me. Didn't play it though.

Hard to wish you and Ace GL on both sides of the game.

After a 9 pitch 1-2-3 first inning, Happ gave up 3 walks a HBP and 3 runs and was only able to get 2 more outs before being yanked.

So why didn’t you post this before me? I could have copied it, said it was my own write-up and then picked Toronto!

Since Scott didn't let me steal his information and the Mariners blew a 3 run lead, my record is 0-1 (-$100) but I'll mark it down as Should be 1-0.


Anyway, if I can’t find some baseball winners I’ll have to pack up the car and take my family to Lake Erie and make 110 posts over the next 3 days telling everyone how rich I am and what a great life I have.
