I like TCU. They have very similar stats to Boise, but they played in a much stronger conference. The WAC was a pitiful excuse for a conference this year. TCU manhandled a BCS Utah squad, outgaining them 444-275 on the road, but somehow lost that game. TCU was the team that belonged in the bcs.

You sure are. Both teams have elite defenses. This has the look of an under game to me honestly.

Starting LB Robert Henson for TCU is most likely out. Sounds like an academic issue but he was 1st team all MWC and a seinor. Just some info

Does anyone else remember that TCU kicker missing two game winning fieldgoals against Utah that were less than 35 yards? Does that not make anyone else nervous considering the line is a fieldgoal?

I would be more unsettled backing a freshman QB who has not seen a defense even CLOSE to the defense TCU has. Sure he had a great season and a good future at Boise, but Sam Bradford had a hard time with this D and there is no comparison.

Bradford still threw for over 400 yards. Moore won't come to close that, but he is better than Dalton. Also they have two good RB in Johnson and Avery along with 3 solid WR. I think people are underestimating the Boise St. defense has they are the best goal to goal defense in the nation and ranked #3 in defense behind TCU at #2.

I'm on the Boise St. ML +135.

Agree 100%.. Boise's D' is just as good imo while Boise's Offense is much better then the frogs.

TCU DEFENSE - GREAT
TCU OFFENSE -GOOD (but not Great)

BSU DEFENSE - GREAT
BSU OFFENSE - GREAT

The difference will be Boises Offense getting the job done with Great Execution, unique playcalling and big plays...

Dont know why people want to throw away their money on TCU..

Its called being a square.. ie always betting the Favs.. ie Chalkeater..

My buddies a bookie and he has assured me all his square players are hitting up Boise, most of them on the ML. I originally loved TCU and had it as one of my top bowl plays because they are the best non-BCS team without a doubt in my mind and hold possibly the best defense in the nation, or at least top 10, but the more I've thought about this game the more I think it could be a toss up. I'm personally hoping this line gets to 3.5 so I can buy back a small portion of my bet and hope to middle. I can easily admit Boise is more than capable of winning this game because TCU isn't some amazing team that should be in a BCS bowl (no non-BCS team should be in a BCS bowl imo), but to say TCU is the "square" side though is just laughable at best.

amazing that some of these morons can even spell square, the "sharps" are on the favorite a lot of times too, and the "squares" are on the dog sometimes DEFINITELY IF ITS AN UNDEFEATED DOG!

anyways think this has nothing to do with it, i think tcu has the better side should have won a game against a better utah team on the road, and the wac was super bad this year, nevada, fresno, hawaii, all had considerably weaker teams than in years past.

honestly tcu seems like the no brainer, the fact they were even favored should say a lot.

Someone mentioned the TCU Freshman kicker. The kid has a great leg, but he's missed extra points and short FG's all season long. He makes 50 yarders and misses 30 yarders.

The Frogs are a physically strong team that is very fast. If BSU is able to match the TCU speed, it will be a long night for the Frogs. That said, OU has been the only team that has matched their team speed.

I am wagering that BSU doesn't yet understand the speed they are going up against. One last thing, the game is not on blue turf; the game is on green Santa Ana Bermuda grass. TCU plays on grass.
