Ok, since we've got so many geniuses, lets analyze these answers. (Despite the fact that I was addressing Tell It Like It Is, since I know what brain numbing drivel I can expect from Lander).
"3 years ago I could clip my nails on an airplane." Wow, that is pretty scary. Have you ever done that.
"3 years ago I could publish a paper on how to modify a satellite TV reciever on the internet without fear of prosecution."
Not quite sure what is stopping you. Again, is this something that you have done in the past that you no longer do?
"3 Years ago I could travel abroad without being embarassed to be an American."
We're talking here about things that you are allowed and not allowed to do, not your feelings. Obviously this does not address the question in any way whatsoever. It is your choice to be embarrassed if you want. That is not a requirement.
"3 years ago I didn't have the gov't spying on my email. 3 years ago I didn't have to worry about being indefinately detained, without a lawyer, trial before my peers or basic human rights."
Has the govt spied on your email? Do you have proof of this? Have you been detained?
Let me repeat the question, maybe I wasn't clear enough. What things have you done in the past, or that you cannot do now. ACTUAL THINGS THAT YOU HAVE DONE. Maybe for once there can actually be a normal conversation without the histerics.
