debate is boring as hell, but i would still watch it. i think it is fairly important and i'm not even a citizen of the u.s. as always the outcome of this election will affect the rest of the world. also there will be atleast two more games left in the series.

Debate??? Politicians are a bunch of bs artists and worse...mainly lawyers. The best reality show on any nite is sports. I grew up in Minnesota. The only way I would watch the debate is if the great Minnesotan Hubert Humphrey were to debate.

The vast majority of folks who watch the "debate" are those who have already made up their minds as to their vote. Rarely does someone watch, hoping to glean some insightful information that will sway their vote. These "debates" are simply media events that supplement the paid political advertisements.

Thus, there is little difference between the baseball viewer and one watching the "debate." Both are pulling for their choice to win. At least in baseball there is a real winner.
