With Super Tuesday tomorrow a lot of us will have the right to vote in Primaries..

It raises these questions...

1. Do you think an Independent should be able to vote for BOTH Rep & Democratic Primaries?

2. if you were only allowed one vote, would you rather vote AGAINST the candidate you despise, in return you're voting for a candidate your iffy on in the general... or would you rather back the politician your most likely to back in a general, even though youre not a huge fan...

3. Do you think it's a wasted vote at this point to vote for a candidate that's way behind in the polls?
3a. How do you think today's polling / information has changed the Election Process...

I've voted for many candidates that I don't really like, but are by far the most qualified for the job. I don't like most of the driven and highly successful football coaches. They almost all have shitty personalities and big egos. But I wish they coached for my team...

you can vote however you would like using whatever strategy you feel most helps you reach your personal objectives.

if you don't follow politics or have a lower IQ or if in anyway you are unsure of the process, please stay home.

don't vote just because someone tells you "to rock the vote" or "get out and vote"

those people tell you that because they know that you will most likely vote for a name you will recognize.

a candidate will run ads on MTV then MTV runs ads to rock the vote, the kid goes into the booth and mindlessly votes for that candidate.

it's the same as running beer ads on MTV then telling kids to "rock the beer" what beer do you think they will ask for?

An independent should not be able to vote in a primary.

Personally I vote for whoever I want, no matter if they have a chance or not. I will vote for Kasich in the Mich primary next week. Will he win? No, but a good showing may allow him to catch on with someone else.

I don't like the reporting of declaring states winners when only 10% of the votes have been counted. I don't know what kind of effect it has in those states that are still open for voting, but it can't be positive.

A party can organize a large group of independents and have them vote for the worst people on the ballot of the opposite party, to make it easier for them to win in November.

1. I'm in a closed State Party only
2. General Election is only place where your vote matters. Delegates decide who is on ballot in November
3. See #2 Lucky if 20% take the time to vote in Primary
3a. Too many Polls Too much info = Too confusing

no, independents should not vote in party primaries, only party members should choose their nominee. Allowing crossover voters is even worse

I prefer to vote for a candidate, always, in any circumstance

I think it would be a good thing for pollsters to get something really big really wrong. I think we have an aura of predetermined elections, which ain't good. I also think many voters just vote for the popular candidate

strongly agree...
I'd be voting Kasich without hesitation, and take him against any democrat... but because he's polling at 7% in my state, I feel like it's a waste.. and that's just ridiculous. I'm playing a numbers game instead of voting for the person I want too..

But I think this point also would be my argument against FW.... If Kasich was running vs Any Dem, I'm voting R... if Trump is running, I'm voting for any D... My opinion should matter even though all my political views are summed up by one party.

It's crazy to me that because we have two very polorazing candidates.. Trump and Bernie, they will actually take votes from each other... AntiTrump people not voting Dem because of Trump.. Or AntiBernie not voting in Repubican Primary because they want to vote against him..

Such a predicament.

You should have to take a basic quiz to vote. Not even a hard quiz at all. Like really easy but something that atleast makes people somewhat involved in the process.

Where is Syria on a map? Who is their president? What is the unemployment rate? How much did the federal gov't take in tax receipts last year? What did it spend?...A B or C....True or false, Who is the federal reserve chairman? What does TPP stand for? and lastly, solve this equation...
