I believe the USA's reaction to this here tragic event was to passive. We needed to blow the Countries up that participated in 9/11 and then take their stuff. All we did was allow thousands of young Americans to get killed by going into a ground war. Nuclear was the way to proceed. This is what I think about this here issue.

So you're saying the USA should have dropped nuclear weapons on Egypt and Saudi Arabia?

How do we then Take Their Stuff if it's all radioactive?

Yes, if they were involved. Then when things cool down, send in the troops and take whats left.

Okay...so we can "send in the troops and take what's left" in about 150 years from now, eh?

We should all remember the lies that have been perpetuated over the last 8 years.

How did they keep all this secret when they couldn't even cover up torturing a few POW's?

BLANKET edict for this Thread: If your intent is to simply rehash opinions regarding the events of 9/11/01 which have already been posted numerous times in other threads, please just post a link to that RxForum Politics thread for anyone who is interested in review.

Same goes for posting YouTube clips which have already been embedded in multiple PoliticsForum threads. Just link to those threads and spare us the needless waste of extra bandwidth.

Sorry B'man. As a survivor of both World Trade Center terrorist attacks (as you know), when it comes to 9.11.01, I cannot get past the personal thoughts and feelings to have any sincere political opinions regarding the events of that day.

I do recall feeling EXTREMELY angry towards Muslims later that evening. "How dare they try to kill me and my colleagues and friends?" (sidenote: in excess of 5 dozen people I knew personally or professionally actually did lose their lives as a result of this heinous act against humanity.)

However, as the reality of what happened hit me in the days to follow, those feelings evaporated and were replaced with mental shock.

Ok, here's a political thought as sophmoric as it may sound, "Find Osama bin Laden and let me connect his testicles to a car battery and shock the fuck out of the bastard."

So, who do I make the therapy payment out to? Thanks for allowing me to vent.

No apologies needed for honest testimonials.

This is the place to do it.

I only want to keep "political" opinions out of the OS threads which are likely to pop up in next couple days.

Does that include keeping the ultra-hardcore 9/11 conspiracy theorists out of this thread as well (meaning those who actually believe that US gov't used "lasers" from space to take down the WTC buildings)? I'm not trying to advocate Rx censorship, just wondering if any of them are still around because that was the most ludicrous theory I remember reading.

Anyone heard about Osama Bin Laden lately?

No, after the president vowed to find and punish him after 9/11, he went after Sadam instead since there was oil involved. Apparently pretending a country has WOMD and terrorizing them is more important than finding a guy that took down the towers.
