Have seen the term "polish middle" used here several times...would someone please explain it...have a general idea but would want to be exact...also please explain difference between sports like "polish middle " in football and in baseball when you might also play the run line to try and win.........
It seems to me this is politically incorrect, since it is a slight on the good Polish people. Why not simply call it a reverse middle?
In essence this is a middle than cannot win both sides but can lose on a middle when the player herself would be middled.
I played such a middle on the all star game yesterday taking the AL straight up at +131 and the NL-1.5 at +161. My losing position was a NL win by 1.
