On pokerroom's website it clearly states that blocks can take up to 1 business day. Now they are telling me 5-10 days. When you deprive someone from something that is their's, yes that is theft. Its not their money to take.

I agree with gobosox. Pokerroom needs to release that money asap. If they want to keep his money they need to pay him interest. By the way has gobosox stated how much money pokerroom is holding of his?

5-10 days is certainly excessive-no doubt about that

On the other hand, did you break a rather well known rule, so they kind of have you by the short hairs. You better hope like hell that you & your buddy didn't play too many games together (as two players). If there is any sign of collusion, you could have a real problem on your hands.

Uh, I don't think that includes accounts under FRAUD investigation. Do you not get the part about breaking their rules? Chip dumping is a common tactic used by colluders, credit card scammers, dumb people, and various other scamps. it's pretty clear what group you fall under, so I'm sure you'll get your money. Give it time

Dont worry too much. Take it easy. All gambling operations always choose not to offend regular customers. They would just let it go.. just be patient.

TTINCO, we werent playing at the same table or even at the same time. He was at my house watching a white sox playoff game and we only played under my username. There was no fraud or collusion on our behalf at all.

I understand that part. I was just referring to the "rest" of your play there.

In 20 years of playing poker live and 5 years of playing online I have NEVER committed any collusion or fraud. There is a big difference between teaming up with someone at a table against other players and simply getting a private table for 1 minute to transfer money from one account to another with no other players at the table. Believe me, if pokerroom would have made their rake on this transfer, we wouldnt be having this conversation.

Here's a question: WHY in the hell wouldn't yer friend just sign up at Netteller? Seems simple...

Because it takes a few more days to get a neteller account registered by the time they make their small deposit into your checking account. We transferred the money at the private table in 1 minute and didnt bother anyone. Listen, I know it was technically against the rules, but enough is enough. There is no need to block my $4000.00 for 10 f'n days.

I don't know how much money you deposited through NETeller, but once you've withdrawn an amount equal to what you've deposited, most sites let you chose your next method of withdrawal. I guess you could have then sent your friend money to the Firepay account.

I think the poker site was right for doing what they did. its everyones policy and if you had done the same thing at PP, you would have suffered the same wrath.

with that being said, it was an innocent mistake and pokerroom should eventually resolve this. However, if they dont want to, they dont have to. Just have more patience next time. What is the big deal in waiting 2 weeks before getting the money?

On a side note, i absolutely hate pokerroom. NEver played there, but had tons of problems just trying to sign up once. I decided that if they were that much of a pain when signing up, i can imagine how bad it would be once your money was already with them.
