I saw an advertisement for PartyPoker while watching a hold 'em tournament (james woods was in it...). I was kind of surprised to see an ad for a gambling site...

yes I noticed alot on the travel channel...some put .NET for "FREE" to get your there so you can post up

I believe Paradise Poker sponsored Jeremy Rose in the Derby. He got interviewed on NBC so they got their moneys worth.

These ads are everywhere. They "get around" the theoretical legal issues by talking only about the "free" part of the site and "poker advice" You'll notice nowehere in the ads do they talk about actually wagering on poker at the site.
