me personally I like the 5.. easier to pick up and remember players trends.. but on the flip said I like the tourneys with 10 people at a table because I get to see a lot of free cards.

Ive found a lot of collusion going on at the short tables at both Bowmans and SIA......You have 5 people at a SNG and 3 of them teaming up its tough to get ahead.. the only reason id play SNG's to begin with is to save time so i'd love to play the 5 handed ones often. Heads up though has become my fav when im short for time.. Bowmans and ACR have become my cardrooms for these...

And so it goes......

Is collusion big in Casino play? If so, what games? Is it mostly no limit?

at a 5 or 6 person table your hand value goes WAY up....I prefer 6 people tables

If there is a really bad player at the table, I would prefer short handed every time, as you get to play more hands against them. Full ring it's a little more difficult, as there are 8 other hands to worry about.

So, like everything in poker, it depends.

i would think a tight player would like fewer players at the table.

5 player is going to have a max of 15 cards in play .

fewer chances of a bad beat..

i dont know, maybe i'm wrong in that way of thinking..

I would rather have 10 people all the time in a 20-40 or 30-60 game, because with 5 or 6 people you can play sometimes all night and night make a big score. in a no limit game then I would prefer 5 or 6 people.

I prefer 10 hands in cash limit. Each round is cheaper on the forced blinds and you get more chasers to pay off your good hands. I also have little experience 5 handed and find it difficult to make hand adjustments.

Good players should be able to adjust their games to the number of players and skill level. You can't play the same way all the time.

I play mainly tournaments and find I have weaknesses in both areas from time to time as I fall into patterns.

Continually evaluating your game and learning to improve is important to success.

i only play the NL 6 max tables at party. I find the players at these tables suffer from ADD (more so than at the larger tables) and will play more bad hands. They also never believe you when you make a bet.
