I just started looking at pts..i've been doing only moneylines so far.

So if I bet A +2 and the outcome is A 95 - B 93, I win, or do I have to have +2.5 to win this?

You take Team B +2.0
Final score: Team A 95, Team B 93.
Score + spread: Team A 95, Team B 95
95 = 95 = a tie = you get your wager back

If you had +2.5, you would have 95.5 to 95.0. 95.5 > 95.0 therefore you'd win.

Quit while you still have something. You win either way in your example because A won by 2 and were +2 or +2.5. Simply put, a tie is no action. With a half point, you cannot tie the last I checked.

I only do this on a small % of games...and when I have, so far I've won both sides

I have a couple hundred of my own put in, and only bet 1% of my balance on each wager.

Hate to bash a new guy, cause we've all been new @ some point. But it appears you have MUCH to learn.

Just trying to help you out. It is tough to win money from the books, especially when you don't know the basic rules.
