After a losing day on Friday going 6-6, losing my 5* and going 2-3 on my 4*'s, I bounced back nicely on Saturday and Sunday with an 8-2 run including 5-0 on my 4*'s. My record stands at:

40-24 overall
5* 1-4
4* 23-5
3* 14-15
2* 2-0

Let's hope the winning continues with the NIT/NCAA.

5* ND -5.5, if Purdue can lose to Minn by 11 while Minny shoots 27%, I don't see how they can play with the Irish today. Happy St Patricks day everyone!!!
4* GW+4.5, Virg plays close games and GW is playing well lately.
4* Drexel+8, they have kept it close to the number all yr and Vill hasn't blown anyone away.
4* Ut St -8, even though the got passed up for NCAA, they remember last yrs opening rd NIT loss and drill the Rainbows.
3* Ia St -3.5, Geo 1-11rd, Ia St 13-1h

Robert Tomaszek appears to be out for the Texas Tech game against UNC-C. He is a big part of TT offense and they struggled earlier when he was out. This will be an advantage for the 49ers. However, both teams have been inconsistant this year. That being said , if Red Raiders bring their A game, they win by double digits. With Toma out, I will probably pass this game.

I heard an interview with bob Knight in which he pointed out that Tomo was out when TTU lost to Texas by 1 pt in OT, and he was also out when they lost by 4 to Oklahoma State...

I wouldnt exactly call that struggling.


They are capable of killing charlotte, and the game is on a completely neutral court (in buffalo I believe) which if anything would favor Mr. Knight over a charlotte team with little national exposure.

Texas Tech is thin on the interior without Toma. Tech's losses mounted this year after Toma's injury and when they were on the road (losses @ Kansas, Okla ST, Okla, Texas, Colo, Neb) all tough home courts, but Tech was also struggling with their game as Toma was not as effective as he has been.

Even without Toma, I said if TT brings their A game, it is a double digit winner. I just want to give MG my thoughts simply because he appreciates my input.
