Plase take away the Weekend Warrier contest from BetPanAM it send a possible wrong message to new people who might still join or post up with them seeing a up and running contest. HAving that contest is like endorsing them as a decent place to do business with I think....others??

AGreed, although for the winners the 1st 2 weeks it sucks. Hope they get their money back! Quite honestly thought the extreme rollover requiremnts in a short period smelled fishy! Glad I didn't post up.

I would say to just SUSPEND the contest since they could pay everyone up within a couple of weeks and then everything's back to normal.

Darryl and others,

I have asked another sports book to host the contest until all payout requests are honored by PAN AM.

They agreed to do so...

Would you guys prefer to have the contest going or shall we just suspend it until Bet Pan Am gets their act totally together again?

Please let me know ASAP...

Thanks,
Ken

That sounds good! If another book takes it over then I see no reason why it can't continue.

As long as the new book has different or less stingent post-up requirements! Otherwise would get the same feeling. But yes; who knows if bet-p. will be ready in 2 weeks, months or you get the drift.

I respectfully suggested awhile back that the RX should have an Escrow Account that holds all Contest Funds in case one of our sponsors sh*ts the bed.

If this site is going to promote and endorse books that offer up these great contests than MAKE SURE we don't get screwed out of the prize money or the post ups.

guys, as far as i know, PANAM is still the sponsor of the contest....and it is going on as planned....

There was no forced post up for the contest, only a deposit if u wanted to play for full prizes.....no fees to enter....

Panam is still around, and have said they will honor the contest.....i have posted as much in the contest section...

If shrink has gotten another sponsor, in case of a problem, that is great...

However, the contest is still going on as planned......

Kiss, this was not a post up contest...These prizes were being given away by Panam....everyone was eligible for the half prizes, without any funding of their account...

Therefore you are getting "screwed" out of nothing.....

But quite obviously it seems the easiest thing to do in the future, is to just have NO CONTESTS.....because as soon as anything goes wrong with anything, everyone jumps on you immediately.....Yet, we still have no contest where the winners did not get their prize....

If you are talking about a post up contest, where all players are paying a fee, and winner take all, then escrow would be fine, however when a book is GIVING AWAY prizes, what would u want in escrow?

You guys dont realize the work that goes on to organize and run these contests...The money doesnt just fall off of trees.....The book has to get something out of it, to give away all the money, its business....

True you didn't have to post up to win something but to win the amounts advertised you did have to. I will agree any prize is generous.

The contest will be changed to Rio International until BetPanAm is back on their feet.

Thanks Rio. Much appreciated.

Hey Buc's if I wanted your opinion I would have givin it to you. The books are here for ONE reason pal and that's to take OUR money and stick it in THEIR pockets.

I for one am so tired of the mods and monitors blowing the bookies it makes me sick. Most of these bastards are nothing more than thiefs that steal your cash and then re-open under a new name.

Don't kid yourself, kid

Bucsfan,

Your hard work is much appreciated. Keep in mind that for every negative post there are at least 10 positive opinions out there who don't post because, well, it's not as exciting to post positive stuff and you're also putting yourself up to be called a shill, butt-kisser or whatever.

Negative posts ? What planet are you from son ? Panam was touted in this forum as a solid book. Then they sponsored a contest that required a post up to be rewarded the full contest prizes ....

Now there are complaints about no or slow pays. Have you ever read the subject line under this particular part of the forum ?

"Applaud, Praise, Bitch, Moan. This is your folder to comment on offshore books/casinos."

It's not all sugar and spice and everything nice. Offshore bookmaking is a cut throat business. Buc's does a fine job as a mod. That is not what my first post was all about.

Read it. It simply makes sense for the bookies to "up" the contest money ( if they can afford it )

If anybody was "enticed" to deposit to get the "full" prize then some of the posters have a point. It's like paying the ante for Carribean Stud (BTW you not required to) and hitting the Royal Flush then the casino says, "well sorry we don't have the funds to payout right now." Well hell you're not only out of your regular bet but also your ante.
