Arkansas
I would rate those three teams better than anyone in the Pac 10 (except USC)
The Pac10 conference is not good this year and the SEC may be the top.
LSU lost to a very good Florida team while USC lost to a decent Cal team,
and watching the game today, they have a very overrated defense, and a good offense (that is USC) LSU is overall a better team

Either LSU or USC will play in the Sugar Bowl
just one thing that I hate is the announcer doing the games say that that team deserves it
you have Dan Fouts saying that the sugar bowl is where the trojans belong and the voters should make sure they keep them second
and then on cbs they are trying to show how LSU deserves it a lot more than USC. I just wonder since LSU plays last and if they win and look good if one of the polls will put them into 2nd.
we need a 4 team playoff, it would be so great this year

I'm not saying that LSU is going to hop USC but I do think that they are better than USC.

I think LSU is a better all around team than USC. LSU is stronger in the computers, strength of schedule, and quality wins, but are only behind in the polls because they lost after USC lost.
Here is a question. Notre Dame lost today to hurt USC strength of schedule, if Hawaii losses tonight won't that hurt USC strenth of schedule also.
But if LSU wins big tonight (30-7??) they may jump USC.

LSU has beaten a # of quality teams. I know the general thought process is 1-AA schools are garbage but that is far from the truth.
In my opinion LSU has quality wins against:
1. Western Illinois (Then #1 ranked in 1-AA)
2. Georgia (Then ranked #7)
3. Auburn (Made a nice midseason run & was ranked #17 at the time)
4. Alabama (This team most would say gave Oklahoma their best game of the season which says alot for the SEC)
5. Mississippi (Then ranked #15, will be playing in the Cotton Bowl & had a fantastic SEC campaign with their one loss coming against LSU)
6. Arkansas (The same Arkansas team that went in & dominated highly ranked Texas @ Texas.
I doubt anyone could objectively come up with 6 quality wins for USC this season.
