I lost quite a bit last few weeks, and this week i went big to try and get it all back, and failed miserably. Im down way more that i can handle. I cant even afford half of it. Im 19, and if my parents find out they will kick me out of the house. I can no longer afford my tuition. These people are going to start coming after me. I need advice on what I can do. I have lots of uncles who are cool, but i just dont know what to say to them, and i dont know how they will react. U ppl have no idea how bad this situation is right now. If i emptied my bank account i would have paid about 60% of it. I still havent paid my losses from last week and part of week before that. Im not even going to throw around numbers.

All suggestions, advice and opinions, or even simmilar comfort stories are greatly appreciated. How would you act in this situation?

Thank you greatly

Bro, this isn't the place to be asking for help.. This is a gambling forum filled with losing degenerates.. BY NO MEANS should you try to WIN it back.. You just did, and look where you're at now. Gambling your way out of this is NOT an option, PERIOD.

You're going to have to get a job and work as many hours as you can fit into your schedule out around school. Stop going out and partying if you do now. This is your first priority. If you are serious about them coming after you and you are in danger, paying this off becomes your first priority for now.

If you are able to pay this off, or in any case, you also need to stop gambling. Forever. And even if you were to have won your last chase bet I would tell you the same thing. It is clearly not for you, and you need to stop it now.

Nobody will come after you unless you run and dont "man up" your losses.Everyone been where your at in terms of losses but its the long haul that you should focus on.Do you want this stress every week for the rest of the year or do you understand that we all have up/down.
The right thing to do is talk to your bookie and ask him for a payment plan or talk to your Parents and explain your mistakes.
Good luck

Thank you all so much. I greatly appreciate all of your advice. I talked to my guy, and we worked out an arrangement, I will give him 10% of what i owe each week for the next 13 weeks. So i have to pay 30% interest over the next 13 weeks. This seemed to me to be a very fair deal. Also, I am working part time at a butcher shop. I will be able to get through this thanks to all of you and your advice which helped me work up the courage to explain my situation to my bookie. After 3 weeks of payment my account will open, but with a limit. Once i loose a certain amount in a week, my account will close for the rest of the week, as per my request. And believe me, the limit is not very big.

Thank you all very much, I could not have done it without you,

Empty your bank account and pay off half now. Go to work at McDonalds or any job that will hire you tomorrow and pay off another $200 each week. If you have a car or TV or computer sell it

Let your family know you're in deep shit, but that you will do everything you can to dig yourself out

Remember that the Oregon runningback is close to your age and fucked up more than you did. . .

sell all personal assets....get a job....you put yourself into this....you get yourself out..dont cry for help to your family or the bookie.

many times ive had to ride a bicycle to work and scavenge for food cuz i gambled 2 much....man up...hit rock bottom and make life suck...then maybe youll get it... harsh advice i know but using your family like an ATM aint gonna help ya learn anything...

this is coming from someone whos about your age and playing HARD for years. its a rollercoaster ride with HIGH peaks and LOW vallies...if ya cant hang with that then take up another hobby

Thats a good rule, and a good realization that nothing is a lock. You don't seem to be that stupid, and I wish you the best of luck getting out of this.

pay what you can afford to pay and make some sort of arrangement with your bookie.

stop gambling until you learn to not bet over your head

forget getting it back, just move forward

time will help

PS: if you haven't fucked up your credit, you can get signature student loans to pay college tuition. In the states, the federal government will give you something like 2,500 for freshmen year, 4,500 for the next three years and 20,000 for grad school. The balance you can get from private lenders.

In the states, places that can help you are FAFSA.gov & salliemae.com

stop betting and start playing online ats contests, that way you have can still feel like you have action on a game. no risk, but if you do well, you can win some cash/prizes.
