The thread of Url's from various sportsbooks has come under scrutiny. I think the opponent believes that the risk is high that we are sending players to bad books by having this list compiled. I am all for democracy, so please tell me.

Review please

duuuuuhhhh, keep it, it is an awesome tool....

everyone must do their own due diligence before sending money to a book...maybe remove the (PG) pay good ratings beside them

general, it is important that the rx convey to readers that although they do their best to help guide players that they really dont have all that much more info about the status of a books finances or their risk ratio than most...

On any given day any book can go broke, or even simply close shop & steal the balances even if they are not broke...Unfortunately there is not enough regulation...

RX can make recomendations based on past history of books but RX'ers must know/realize that they cannot predict the future...After all Bet Panam looks like did post up a bond...looked like a legit shop...so was advertised here...I am sure there was no ill intent...

But players must take info with a grain of salt...RX gets paid by advertisers...& RX does not have dail access to any books bank accounts...

Perhaps in addition to removing the PG...RX puts some kind of disclaimer at the bottom of the site & the list acknoledging that this is a risky industry & anything can happen...

I posted this in the other Thread on this issue.

quote:
I would eliminate the ratings, just leave a bare bones list with a link to past threads, and the books web-sites. I would include the following message to anyone interested in using the list.

We are working on having a list of the URLs, and an information resource for our posters. The reason for the list is to simply enable any poster to quickly axcess past threads that have some reference to a particular book included.

The list is no way a promotion of any book on the list. We strongly recommend that anyone using the list do so with extreme caution. Due diligence should be excersized by anyone using the list to choose a sportbook to post-up funds. Remember The Rx. has a list of preferred books (link), please visit the link for more information.

We can use your help. Please list any Sportsbooks that you have used or know of. Please supply a link. If you click on the left hand name, it will automatically do a search, and pull up any threads where that book is mentioned. If you click on the right hand URL, it will take you to the book's website.

General, for simplicities sake, you might want to consider a 3 or 4 tiered rating system.

Maybe something along the lines of

No unresolved major complaints

Some issues-probably with a brief description

Pending unresolved issues-with brief description

Stiffs

I'm sure the classifications could be better, but you probably get what I'm saying.

Put the junk in the trash, and try to compare the rest against each other.

TTinCo - as moderators we are not trying rate any of the books on the list one way or another. The attending Rx. threads are what we would like to offer as far as opinion regarding any particular book. Natrually our preferred books also have a link to past threads, and a write-up on the Offshore Book Review page.

Thanks, wil.

the people responding..........most of them have half a brain to not post up with a no name book but for the others they don't know better nor do they keep up with the books.

do you honestlt think that 27 votes represents the true thoughts of the forums?
