I drive a lot. I drive as fast as the conditions will allow like I do everything else in my life.
There is nothing more aggravating and dangerous than people who camp in the left lane and slow to the speed limit or below.
Happens all the time these days because phone readers / texters seem to feel safer in the left lane. They get there and lose focus on the road. Constantly pumping their brakes, and causing all kinds of dangerous conditions for those behind them.
Others also slow when they get there. I swear that they have no control in their lives and get off on watching all the pissed off people behind them. It's the only thing they can control and they sickly and sadistically drive accordingly.
Then there are the people who are just plain stupid and or self absorbed to the point that they have no idea that driving is an interactive act involving an unwritten pact between you and the other drivers around you. Get a f'n clue.
If you see anyone come up on you (use you're damned rear view mirror) and you are in the passing lane, get the hell out of there. You are a serious hazard to the rest of us who are concentrating on driving.
