Sheesh why can't the peanut gallery let the pros do their job and get to the bottom of this without throwing in their two cents (which isn't even worth that much anyway). Is the guy a scammer? I don't know and I don't care and it's really none of my business anyway. This is why I like the idea of "burying" complaint threads because this nonsense doesn't do anyone any good.

savant ... trytry ... you guys have been gullible in the past, and still are.

well, at the end of the post I stated "ALL THE EVIDENCE HAS NOT COME IN YET".... so I reserved my final opinion till it has....

NONETHELESS....

many posters here take the attitude that the Bettor/Player is GUILTY till proven innocent.... Jumping to conclusions before all the facts are known....

I prefer to presume the innocence of the player/poster until facts to the contrary are known....

Has nothing to do with being gullible....

I feel that sportsbook owners/operators often get away with murder as the INDUSTRY is not regulated.... I have seen on more than one occasion a player get the RAW deal at the end of the day....

Furthermore...

For those of you that say that FIRST TIME POSTERS have no merit...

again, this may be true in many cases.... HOWEVER, not in ALL....

I FIRST FOUND THE RX, DUE TO A DISPUTE WITH A BOOK, MY DISPUTE WAS LEGITIMATE, I HAD NEVER EVEN KNOWN ABOUT THE RX TILL THEN, MANY PEOPLE DO NOT COME LOOKING FOR PLACES LIKE THE RX UNTIL THEY HAVE A PROBLEM....

**** Of course, there is a chance that this poster is full of chit, that being said however, I beleive to beleive HIM until evidence comes in to the contrary***

Cheers

If you are so offended by the 'peanut gallery' why dont you STFU yourself? :finger:

Trust me when I say that the mediators benefit from the opinions of the 'peanut gallery' in these cases. :digit:

cheers......

Ok then tell me what good it does to have the Gossip Queens of the forums babbling about these disputes? Not saying whether the original poster is right or wrong, but when someone comes and posts in every forum about how "XYZ Book scammed me" it comes across as someone using "forum extortion" to gain a favorable ruling. If one has a dispute with a sports book the best thing to do is to quietly email someone who is a pro (General, Shrink, Major, etc) and allow them to do their jobs without having this forum nonsense hanging over the whole affair. Once a resolution has been reached then the situation can be posted for the peanut gallery to debate to their heart's content. But threads like these do no one any good... the book (rightly or wrongly) looks bad at least in the eyes of some and faces a potential loss of business, and the poster ends up looking like a scammer whether his beef is legit or not. Good luck in all your plays.

You'd be surprised how much it can help having posters debate whether a sports book is in the "RIGHT" or in the "WRONG" when a dispute occurs...

I have found that the bookmakers who are tring to run a good business really do care what all of you believe to be the truth. In many cases, the PERCEPTION is more important than the REALITY, so when a borderline call has to be made, the majority of OUR SPORTS BOOKS will give the benefit of the doubt to our gamblers, especially when a poster has used US as a referral source...

I will call BCN today and get to the bottom of this. As is often the case, there are two sides to every story, and then there's THE TRUTH....

I will report back later...

AGREED, :103631605

players should try their best to reslove on their own, or with the helo of a MOD....

posting the dispute on the FORUM's too early could result in shooting oneself in the foot.

Most online casinos ask for a fax of ID, and sometimes another document like a utility bill. I've always been able to scan these documents and email them, so if you have a scanner you should be able to do that instead.

As for the truth behind the story, I'll wait and see what Shrink finds out. Should be interesting to know what the TRUTH is. I'd bet that we haven't seen that yet.

I thought this was the place

I thought this was the place to voice what was going on with my account. I emailed Shrink and General. I called BCN today and they said they would let me know something this afternoon. I still believe I did nothing wrong. I felt I had no where else to go. Fabian isn't the easiest guy to talk to. Whatever decision is made I will be fine with. Sorry to cause such a circus about this. One thing I AM NOT IS A SCAMMER.

kjutt, welcome to TheRx.com. Not everyone thinks you are a scammer. There is no way of knowing from what we have read. What you see in these instances is posters wanting to make an assertion and then they are in hopes the calculation is correct so they can then boast about Being right. I have faith that SHRINK will be able and assist you if the book cannot prove all is not on the up & up.

Good luck

I do see your point Shrink. I'm not trying to stir up a flame war, I just want posters to think of the consequenses of immediately turning a dispute into an acromonious situation. Not to mention that if the matter is kept on an even keel without the nastiness then the poster I feel has a much better chance of getting a favorable result or an acceptable compromise. After all, if you are a business and someone starts posting how you're a scammer and you ripped them off human nature is going to dictate that your first reaction is going to be along the lines of "screw this guy" when if the matter is handled in a professional manner then level heads can come up with a solution that is acceptable to both parties, and no one ends up being hurt by a mud slinging festival. And I can see the point that posters can have some thoughts about the situation but often these posters do not have all the facts... all they have to go on is someone posting "I did this, they did that, I was scammed yada yada". Again good luck to everyone including those who disagree with my feelings on these matters.

Let me be the first to say it ... Scammer ... (well, maybe not the FIRST to say it  ).

It wouldn't surprise me if this guy was GutterRat/GutterRoaches - in fact, I'm almost certain it's him ... this guy's on about his 15th identity at the Rx ... no, wait, make that his 16th.

"You can call me Ray............or you can call me Jay"

"But you doesnt have to call me Gullible"

I am very interested to hear "the rest of the story" from the book's side also...

I've placed numerous bets for friends that live in various regions of the country, when they couldn't get to a computer - and never had any problems...it's hard to imagine a big time ring of scammers getting juiced up over a couple of $25 free accounts, but I guess stranger things have happened...

LOL.

I never even noticed that Bucsfan said that, but I think he's right again. He usually has an eye for spotting scam jobs.

For those doubters, take a look at the first post from kjutt at 05:06 AM:

"I won 500.00 with the free 25.00 they were giving out."

Next, take a look at GutterBall's post from 07:17 AM:

"played CRACKJACK AND WON 175.00 THEN GOT THE HELL OUT... "

-----

How many people use decimal places when they're talking about an even dollar amount ? Not too damn many. If I won $175, I say "$175", I don't say "175.00" .... most people DO use the $ sign, and definitely DON'T use two decimal places (when the number is an even dollar amount).

Just the first of MANY clues indicating that these two are the same person.
