If you would like constructive criticism, you need to provide the following:

1) What is the mission statement for the site, then we can tell you how you compare to your targets

2) Subjective, but are you referring to handicapping, book quality, or general topics. Are you referring to "content" or "entertainment"

3) Provide the job description for the mods

4) see #1. Obvioously "clearer" direction as a watchdog (even though you dislike that term).

What some people might miss out on is that this site is more than this page (the offshore sportsbook & casino section) it has a lot of other pages as well.

While I generally bump around in here mostly becauseI don't pst plays, there is still allot of good info in the individual sports sections.

The entertainment has been lacking alittle lately. Although SG seemed to have the makings of a nice drama, he flaked as usual, maybe realizing thathis antics had indeed crossed int the "real world". So his SG persona getting crucified had an effect on all his personalities? But that is on the low level.

Book profiles and discussions have been minimal, especially with so many people looking to post up for football. There have been the gratutious "which boos have what % bonus" or "which book has reduced juice". Thwere haven't been a whole lot on the newer start up places, and whatto look to avoid. Maybe it is the sign of the times that these places are now in the minority, or that people are focusing on the well established, quality shops.

But like anyplace lese it has its ups and downs, and when you miss a day you miss a lot.

Wasn't that a catch phrase for a TV or a radio show?

I get a lot of good ideas from the individual sport sites and think it is well done. Some of the pissing contests could be eliminated but on the whole for a non vegas gambler it is a good site. keep it up

Great questions and thanks for asking! I, for one, really appreciate the contests offered here at the rx. The General and Journeyman are my favorites. They, when working in tandem, are able to run things in such a smooth fashion that allows for zero controversy.

Suppose one wanted to e-mail in a final pick, for example. One could be certain that an immediate response would be in order if there was any question regarding your final selection.
No way either of those guys could mis-read your e-mail.

Yes, all is good. Thanks for the opportunity to brag on The General and Journeyman.

I really enjoy the site, always first site I visit everyday. Great contests, posters and mods. Only problem I have is the forum going down right when I need to get in. It does not happen often, thank god. Keep up the great work guys

therx powers to be....need to remember how much the majority of sports bettors are clueless on how the offshore industry works.......and look to therx to provide the answers and help when needed......

and with that said.... how easily the forum readers can be influenced by a recommendation of a sportsbook...(betpanam) and a post that contains unsubstantiated b.s. (bluegrass....

i came across this site by accident several years ago.....i wouldnt of given it a second glance.....if i hadnt of noticed a thread by judge.....luckily i didnt read one of sick gamblers escapades or i would of quickly deemed therx a waste of time..lol(just kidding sg).....

alot of good solid information can be found....

I find it particularly interesting how everyone is willing to help or make suggestions no matter what the circumstances. Whether it's a simple question, a purchase or a life changing decision, it's nice to know there are quality people here that can help. The site is user friendly and I'm sure there are other aspects I have not discovered yet. The site will just get better and bigger. Many other sites I've discovered are not as vast, or don't have the traffic or there's a whole lot of bitching going on much much more than here. Thanks to everyone for a quality site!!

1. Overall vs. other sites. I stay with the best. Not posting anywhere else. Nor do I read anywhere else. I got bored at Fezzik's Place. He was not even a challenge. Bad Frog!. The infopoop service is below average. Way too many outages. Do you have to pay extra for reliable service with backup servers and guaranteed uptime. Contracts can be written dropping price if bogey not attained. Not being able to get to a site, or being able to post, for hours is inexcusable. Step up and get a better provider from all of the protection, I mean advertising funds. Very entertaining site, but the real world is my preference.

The quality of posts have arrived, since I did. Hell, I keep this boring place alive half the time. I am probably one of the most divisive personalities ever to enter the forum. Controversial, constantly. Upset everyone, ruffle feathers, my pleasure. I am the devil's advocate. I am the modern day Diogenese. School of cynic. Kiss1 an alumni. Overall the posts are great. Good information, broad range of topics. Many sharp individuals here. Problem is to get a good read on this you would have to ask the 70% that view and do not post. Maybe higher %. Basically I try to point things out, possible value, and share insights whenever possible. I also like to network, have met some good people work with. I think the posters make the forum, and the mods keep them in line. Once in a while THE SHRINK, blesses us with his expertise and wisdom. I try to remain in awe, but the man, the myth, the legend is somewhat tarnished at this juncture. I think locks and guarantees are a thing of the past. But he dishes out a lot worth thinking about. Overall the best part of the RX is the forums.

The mods are doing a commendable job. General steps in and tries to diffuse things. All the pissing matches and flaming are counterproductive but sometimes get a lot of views. There is a conflict there. Fish has been around the block a million times. I can tell, because of things he posts. Hache is a blast. Had one of my best threads ever with Hache and Pacers. The general holds it all together, even attempting to ask me to do things. But I am the bad FROG, and rarely listen. I am that disruptive kid everyone hated because he was a jerk, but everyone deep down inside wanted to be. FROG be nice, do not be pompous, arrogant, think of others, all sorts of advice. Trying to groom or guide the FROG is counterproductive. Then there is wil. Always there to hit me or kick me when I am down. Flaming me before and after he became a mod. I guess that is the price I have to pay. He is my RX shadow. I know he is there, ready to attack, he waits for the opportunity and pounces. I get more enetertainment from him than the rest of the forum put together.

4. Better would be an archive, sort of like a info base of pertinant threads. Poker archive, sports betting archive. Next, get some links. I want to bounce around. Other sites? Weather, maybe charts, trends, stats. Like that one stop shopping. There is always room for improvement, but I am inexperienced on this business and am probably not qualified to render an opinion. Just some links would help me. And do not promise people shirts for prizes for your own contests and then blow them off. Maybe as a business you think it is good customer service to promise your members something, and then not keep the promise. Am I out of line here? You say I win a shirt, and I get forgotten. Is it because I am bad FROG? If I am good FROG will I get my promised shirts? Wait, maybe they were not promised, but guaranteed lock shirts. I get it now. I have noticed a huge increase in bandwidth download usage as I move from page to page in the RX recently.

If you you pay by the gigabyte, I'm sure you will too. ( for the same number of pageviews)

Its taking up to 8 secs to open up a page, and I use broadband.
