Overall, the offshore sports books have had a rough time of it lately. Many have lost significant amounts of money in the past couple of months.

There are certainly no sponsors on this site that I am aware of who are in danger...

BUT, I have heard that there are other sports books out there that may not be able to make it until Football starts. Simply put, they are running on fumes.

Unless a sports book has deep pockets, they may be in BIG TROUBLE due to what has transpired recently...

If I were you, I would certainly READ what other posters are sharing in this forum and keep my balances LOWER than normal until Football...

Shrink --

In light of this email, I'm concerned about a substantial balance I have at a particular book.

Can I ask you to email me at seperite@yahoo.com to discuss further details?

Thanks.

Ken is right on the money. The likelyhood of two or more casualties before Foots starts is very high at this time.

Excellent advice Ken.

MC- Personally, I could not say for sure what sportsbooks they may be............but like TOW says, there undoubtedly some out there.

As of RIGHT NOW, I can tell you what books I personally have money in and feel fairly secure with.

They are........

PINNY
OLY
BET365
WSEX
SKYBOOK/RIO
BOWMANS
BODOG

This is in no way suggesting that a book that I have no money in is in dire straits.

But those mentioned above are my actual FUNDED accounts in this OFF-SEASON.

Its funny how two of these books I mention, BOWMANS and OLYMPIC, are non-advertising books and many advertisers at the RX I have no money in currently.............. but I am routinely mentioned as being a schill for advertisers here.

I suggest these people stop with the nonsense.

SHRINK, I cannot afford to play guessing games with my money. I can pull all my funds, from all my accounts, and put it right back in for football. That was my plan before this post. I hope you do not cause a panic run on good books...Best Wishes...OF

What should we do about the dinner? I have no intent of gouging you. Would you prefer to discuss it privately, or here at forum, either way...thanks again...OF

fishhead - how can you state that "undoubtedly there are sportsbooks in danger" and not even know which sportsbooks those are? isn't this a watchdog site???

PLEASE TELL US WHICH SPORTSBOOKS HAVE LOST SERIOUS COIN SO WE CAN PROTECT OURSELVES!!!! IF THEY ARE NOT ADVERTISERS, WHAT HAVE YOU LOST?

ALSO, just because I have money in the books mentioned does not mean they are necessarily safer than other books...........but I PERSONALLY feel safe in these..........

.............and I have my OWN cash in there.

PS- Now, please understand, I felt extremely safe in ACES GOLD, and they screwed me over but good.

PLEASE TAKE EVERYTHING IN ABOUT A SPORTSBOOK YOU CAN AND MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS.

There are HUNDREDS of sportsbooks out there.......if you think that none are in dire straits, your a fool.

If I knew which ones EXACTLY, I would tell you.

I JUST POSTED WHAT BOOKS I HAVE MONEY IN!!

Ken and Roberto... with all due respect, if you have any info that a book or books are in dire straits why not post the info. Players need as much info as possible in order to protect their funds. Coming out with a blanket statement that a couple of books may not make it to football season and not state which ones is just as idiotic a statement as SBR stating last season to "beware of a Costa Rican book in trouble" then months later looking for kudos when Blue Marlin went under.

People here don't need to read between the lines, if you have info then warn the people that keep this site going with the proper info.

If it causes a run on the bank for books.. so be it.. personally I think run on the banks are good in that we quickly find out who has cash to pay the players and who doesn't.
