ANY two-team teaser where one game involves a push, the teaser is graded as a refunded wager to the bettor.

The important thing to remember here is ANY!

Meaning, if you even have a LOSER with a tie, your wager is refunded. These are Vegas style rules and most offshore sportsbooks grade 2-team teasers this way.

You would be amazed at how many of these type of tickets never get cashed in Vegas because of the person placing the bet not knowing this specific rule.

Please check the HOUSE RULES on teasers at each individual sportsbook you play at offshore. Each particular sportsbook handles this in a different matter.

Now go pick some winners everyone!

Locals have been getting away with grading ties as losses forever. Ties are pushes. I tell this to friends who don't even know the offshore world exists and they tell me I'm crazy.

I did not know that.

Locals do always grade them as losers. Not a huge teaser player but I didn't know this rule.

Any Loss...not any tie...

Are there any books that will declare a tie/Win as a win?

Strut How do the 2 game teasers work @ ABC...

ie:

TIE/WIN = ?

TIE/LOSS = ?

From their site.....
-Wager in which you choose between 2 and 6 sides or totals (Jazz) and 2 and 14 sides and totals (ABC) like in a parlay but with the point spread or total adjusted in your favor.

-Any selection that loses makes the whole Teaser a loss.

-In regular teasers, any tie is treated like WIN.

-In a Big Teaser and Super Teasers, ties lose. In the event of a cancelled or suspended game where all other teams win, you will have no action in Big Teasers and Super Teasers.

-We have Regular teasers, Special teasers and College Teasers (ABC)

locals have to make up for the 10-15% bad debt they incur each year, so they use the teaser ties lose to help compensate for it

if you want to play with local and have ties cancel the bet, i'm sure you can if you want to post up

you need to clarify teaser and parlay rules wherever you play, some locals also call a parlay tie a loss, which is uncool

also, some locals drop the half point on teasers and parlays, which can hurt the dog player, especially in the event of a tie

When you play in a book where ties lose you are esentially getting half a point less. Example Team A minus 1 teased to Team B Plus 7. Team A wins easy, but Team B loses by 7. You lose the bet in this case. So you really only had team B plus 6.5. If that makes any sense.

wil.
