DABOMB....
Duquesne +14½ at West Viriginia
Michigan -18 vs Bowling Green
Gonzaga -6 vs Missouri
Arkansas St -5½ vs So Miss
Creighton -2 at Fresno St
Arizona -9 vs Marquette
Night card up mid-afternoon
Dukes - Duquesne yet to cover in three chances and WestVa 3-1 ATS and off a SU 1-point win over Mary. However Dukes always seem to give Mountaineers a game. They've won 4 of the L5 games SU including wins in the L2 seasons. A neutralizing factor in this one both teams have had final exams with less prep time for this game. WestVa over relies on star player Drew Schifino and expect Dukes to key on him. He is Mountaineers only player averaging in DD scoring. Both teams heavy on shooting the three. Dukes a better than average rebounding team and that has been a WVa weakeness getting out-boarded by near avg of 10 a game. WVa already with a loss at home to a weak Northeastern team. Think this one is closer than expected.

Wolverines - Falcons in a meltdown starting from the top in HC-Dakich who went mental on refs in last game (a lost to IPFW, 75-81) and is facing a poss suspension. BGSU has yet to win a DIV I game this year. Prior to last loss, loss at home to N'wstrn by 17-points, lost at Buffalo by 18, and at Bradley by 13. Not a good time to be going into Ann-Arbor, UM off their first loss of the season at Vandy. Michigan a much better team than prior BGSU opponents who have had their way with Falcs, feel this one is a romp from start to finish.

Bulldogs - Week of distraction for Tigers with alledged scandal and current NCAA investigation that includes two current playes being named accepting cash. Even without distraction, Tigers have not played well yet this season. Close calls over Oakland and Coppin State and had to overcome a 14-point deficit in last game to a shorthanded Indiana team that had lost its previous game by 33-points in first game without C-Leach. Mizzou had a huge rebounding edge in that game 46-28 and tripled them on O-boards but still struggled to win game and needed wild comeback to win. Tigers have been very sloppy with the ball and TO's have been a problem. Neutral court for this one, but Zags will feel at home in Seattle, Tigers will not. Gonzaga playing excellent ball. Have not loss since opener vs St Joe's. They've got it all, great inside game, solid outside game and led by a very good PG. At this point these two teams are playing at very different levels.

Indians - Both teams (4-1) have had easy schedules with only one true test tus far. SMiss failed in theirs, a 40-point loss at Murray St, wich has been their only road game to date. Arky St came close in theirs, a 1-point home loss to a red-hot Toledo team. Indians have beaten the Eagles L2 times head-to-head including a 64-48 win at SMiss LY and a 24-point home win the year before that. ASU coming off a scare against a Liberty but should be noted that star player Montgomery suffered two injuries in that game which helped keep the score close. He's been held out of practice since, but word is that he's a go for this game and they were holding him back so he could play in this one. ASU ranked in top 20 thus far in 3-point shooting, should have a nice edge in this one vs SMiss.

Bluejays - Creighton 5-0 and Fresno with only one legit win, over Pacific in last game. Bulldogs overachieved LY, lost a lot of scoring from LY's team and was supposed to be an uptempo tema team this year with addition/transfer of Legans to team. Hasn't materialized with Dogs stuck in mid-60's in scoring despite being one of the better FT teams in nation hitting 80%. Jays defense is outstanding, allowing only 51.6-ppg. Fresno defense has not been all that good, allowed Princeton 72-points in a 5-point home loss. Usually not a fan of the Jays away but this spot looks good.

Wildcats - Golden Eagles undefeated and looking good, but still feel this team will have a significant dropoff from LY without Wade and Jackson. Also feel team has yet to be tested this season despite playing a couple of name teams. Only road game at St. John's and Redmen a far falloff from what they were a year ago. Other name opp Notre dame just not playing well ast this stage. Zona with one of the best starting 5 in the nation and well balanced. Went to the wire with Florida and handled Texas in last game pretty easily. Sitting at home for this one and Marquette off a week of finals and traveling.

Way to go Hache !

HACHE - A question : Some of the cappers list their records. For example , Special K Sports won 17 of 20. Are these documented somehow or are they potentially just throwing out numbers ? Thanks ! Nick

Are you privy to ESBC plays? Let me know, as I am interested in perhaps sharing the costs of their plays?
