THANKS JACKSORBETTER,
It seemed pretty easy.
thats what i like about the post season, the obvious and the easy usually hit.
things that are suppose to happen happen.
i would like to share my thoughts on the post season handicapping. now i'm not saying that my way is the best, but i think it is at least something to think about.
when i handicapp the overs unders i take the line they give me and add at least one run maybe 2 to the total. that is what the line should be during the reg season, during the playoffs the odds makers know that the teams will be tight, players usually play there best and i figure they will score a few runs less for that fact. Plus eveyone in the bullpen will be used if needed. So like today i figured the cards game would have 12 to 14 runs, so i figured with a line of 10 over, when i got a line of 8- i thought it was a no brainer.
another example tonight i figured about 8 runs total, so figuring less runs and being the playoffs the line should be about 6-, so 7- seemed pretty logical with a cy young canidate on the mound.
hope this makes sense.
i was a little worried about washburn getting shelled today, he has been extremely hard for me to handicapp this year. but i figured shilling would pitch great so i took a chance on the under.
IF ANYONE WOULD CARE TO SHARE THEIR THOUGHTS I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR THEM. SINCE I DON'T USE SYSTEMS IN BASEBALL, ANYTHING THAT MIGHT WIN ME SOME MONEY WOULD BE COOL.
