Playing Unders in the NFL

is like hoping for a miracle. You play 13 damn good minutes and then poof a TD just like that.

Last Sunday the Pitt/Baltimore game was looking good for an Under like 10 minutes into a 3rd Quarter, then 14 point in under 15 seconds.

And what is really frustrating is when you get a team to punt the ball but all they do is use 1:30 seconds of the clock.

I hate UNDERS.

Betting an over gives you 60 minutes to accomplish a goal, like many a Monday night has shown us unders are almost worthless by the 4th quarter.

someone once told me that when you bet under, you start off winning. Over bettors start off losing and have to earn a win. Interesting way to look at it.

I mean when bet unders, its very frustrating. When a team is on their 18 yard line and have a 3rd down and 5, you are actually hoping they get the first down b/c if they don't, the other team gets good field position.

Another thing i find annoying is when there are a lot of punts but both teams ran no damn clock. Who cares if both teams go 3 and out when they ran the ball once only and both times they pushed out of bounds saving time. When you bet unders, you are hoping for them to run up the middle for 2-3 yards everytime and NOT stop the clock.

2nd half under looked good and then this happens. I thought AT WORST I was going to lose my original Under 47 bet and now its already over for the under.

I hate unders.

this week has been an OVER trend.

Gotta remember a couple things..

Weather has been very friendly.

Teams are running the spread offense, and defenses are playing nickel more than ever.. result, lots of yards underneath.

I also think there has been a real swing to offenses dedicated to the Patriots pass first, run second philosophy that was so helpful to them over the last couple of years.

Vegas has just been idiotic with some of the small lines they put out for faves and low lines on primetime games.

i went against a personal decision NOT to play totals, at least have a side wager when you do it, then maybe you can push in alot of instances but hopefully win both....

more than anything, vegas has been off when MNF has 5 for 5 overs...

Looked nice in the 3rd for awhile, until coch fuvkmite didnt know that you could punt the ball out of bounce.....
But fuck, i have not won an under in awhile :bunnies:
