Playing the dogs on the Alt. RL

Does anyone have stats on how many times the underdog covers the RL in regular season games? my guess is that if the underdog is between +100 and +120 the Alt. RL would go up 50-60 cents depending on where they are playing, LA would be higher then colorado for instance. the higher the dogs, the bigger the dog the bigger the alt. rl is......personally i think around 65%-70% of them are covering the rl too which would be enough to play them that way.......stat gurus get ur books out!!! lol

I like the way you think. You are searching out possible advantages and that is the way to go. I wonder how much the books take this into consideration.

I have been noticing differences between the +1.5 RL and the dog ML. Sometimes the dog ML is at +140 and the +1.5 RL is at -167 for example for a total displacement from 100 of 107. Other times the total displacement varies widely. This would be a good study.

well i looked over about 300 plays i made during last years regular season. all underdogs, plays were not mine and his record was 149-169 for a profit of 48.69 Units(all 1 unit and 1 2-unit play per day)

now if i would have played all those underdogs on the alt. rl. i would've gotten in my opinion AT LEAST +50 cent on the alt. rl. after all the additions he would have made an extra 35 units that way...now all i have to figure out is if it is a coincidence or it really works.

Bozzi, I dont have stats for you but when ive played the dog this postseason, Ive played the alt runline as well. Its absolutely been profitable for me. Yesterday, cocksucker Sierra ****ed me and Sosa beat me with the 2 run jack in the 9th a week ago but I still made money cause i played the ml for 4 units and the alt run line for 2 units.
