So now, the lottery matters again to Miami. If the Heat lose Wednesday, they are assured of finishing the season with the league's 10th-worst record, a critical point. If Miami owns the No. 10 pick or better after the draft lottery, the Heat keep that selection. If Miami's pick falls to No. 11 or worse, it goes to Philadelphia.

Lots of respect for you... Always look at your plays. However, I'm not sure I follow your train of thought on this one... If Philly is the benefactor of the pick that Miami loses with a win, why wouldn't the 76ers have just as much motivation to lose the game as the Heat theoretically do?

You are correct, they would. My bad. This could be real ugly tonight. Creates a real head scratcher on the total -- will both teams try to miss and turn the ball over or will the defense be so bad that this game flies over with easy baskets?? Should be interesting either way!
