The only reason I post this is because I have friends that went to school with her and she died from something I consider freakish...She had neck pain and went to chiropractor...He proceeded to adjust her neck,and what happened was it released a blood clot which went to her brain and immediately left her brain dead...Family pulled the plug...This could happen to anyone...

I read this. It was sad. Never heard of her but she was too young and beutiful.

I wonder if she had some family history of blood clotting? I know someone who was told they have a genetic marker for this and need to be on blood thinners for life.

Never go to a chiropractor they are licensed quacks. Friends daughter went to one and he was going to do an adjustment (chiropractor lingo for I have a boat payment to make). She is now a quadriplegic for the rest of her life. Another friends daughter became paralyzed on one side. Never let someone try to adjust your spine.

Been seeing a chiropractor for over 20 years, since a car accident. Never an issue.

A good Chiro does not snap your neck back & forth. If anyone goes to a Chiro who does that quick snap of your neck to one side, find a new doctor.
