MARLINS/PHILLIES UNDER 9 (-115)

Josh Johnson has been lights out all year for the Fish, compiling a 10-2 record with a 2.98 ERA. Earlier this year against the Phillies, he pitched 7 shutout innings, giving up 3 hits and striking out 8. In fact, his career numbers vs. Philly are impressive as well (3-1, 3.66). His ERA is a little bit higher on the road (3.79) this year, but in the last 5 games, the Phillies have only scored over 5 runs once. Jamie Moyer's numbers are nowhere near as flashy, but his value in this game comes from a sparkling 13-2 career record vs. FLA with a 2.83 era, which includes 7 innings of 1-hit shutout ball in a 4-0 Phillies win earlier this season. The Marlins numbers this year alone off Moyer in 3 starts have been subpar (Hermida: 1/9, Ramirez: 1/8, Uggla: 2/9, etc., etc.). Today's hitter-friendly venue makes me a bit weary, but I see no reason why these trends shouldn't continue today. Good luck to all and let's get this money!
