I have a question. As a student at Indiana University I don't see how in the hell we cover +8 this week against Mich St.? The facts they crushed us 52 to 27 last year in East Lansing. That was with our two best players gone to the NFL in WR James Hardy and DB Tracy Porter. We just lost are starting safety to a torn ACL injury in the last game against Ball State who crushed us as well. There has to be something fishy with this line. Somebody tell me something I don't know because I don't see how we stay within 17 points of them. Oh and we have no homefield advantage as the opponents normally average as many fans as we do.

Big Bookie have you gotten any action on IU at all on this game?

For what it is worth, I'm on Michigan St for the simple fact that Indiana defense is suspect. They may even make MSU look like they have a great passing game.

Yea exactly our defense got absolutely torched by Ball State and by all accounts Mich St. is a more explosive squad. I just must be missing something.

I went big on Ball St last week and know IU has only one threat on offense but I'm not on MSU this week for some reason. I learned to bet them against ND and them leave them alone because they have burnt me so many times in the past. I will say under Dantonio they should be a easier team to bet on. No play right now but we'll see come gameday.

Home field is worth at least 6 pts, so that means this line would be Mich St -14.5 if they were at home. That sounds right to me.

mich st has historically been a garbage team, there d looks better this year, but dont have much of a passing game, i could see em losing this one after their big win last week

if you are using the terms like 'us', 'we', 'them' when capping a game, you shouldnt be betting big money on it, regardless of which side youre on. all objectivity is lost at this point. gl.

If they can't move the ball on IU then they should drop down to I-AA

You're laughing but I fail to see the joke. Since when does Iowa no longer have a HFA, and a pretty solid one at that?

This is why I'm asking for opinions. I go to most games and have first hand knowledge of how bad "we" are but haven't seen Mich St. play this year. I just don't see how the line is -8.

Michigan State is still about two weeks away from their historical collapse date.
