I watched Romo take a look at every receiver on the field, and still had time to eat a hotdog and take a nap before the browns put any pressure on him., Dallas could have scored 45 on the dogs if they wanted.

Pittsburghs 38-17 does not tell the whole story with 14 of the points for Tex comming in the 4th quarter. Once again Pitt could have scored 55 if the wanted. Pitt will shred the dogs pass defence and run the ball when they are up by 21 in the 4th. Its not my style to jump on an early line, I usually just wait around for Kojack or someone smart; but i love this play and think it will go to -7 1/2 by game time; worst come to worse I will buy it back so I also like the low juice and I lose a saw buck or 2.

Pitt 35-17

I'm playing the over.

Cleveland had some chances to score, Edwards dropped a few balls that could have been big plays against dallas.

Ptt wins 35-24

browns may win this game outright. Look I know most people jump to fast conclusions after week 1 and vegas and the books are banking on that. The cowboys are good. The browns are not as bad as they played. Even the announcers said when they talk to the browns that were looking at the game against the steelers as the important game. For some reason they looked over dallas like they already knew they was going to lose that game.

Browns and steelers game will be close. Most divisions games are. +6 at at home in a division game. Couldnt pay me to bet on the road team.

bottom line is the browns are still a little banged up and havent played well together yet this year. cribbs was a huge factor for them last year, if he doesnt play i dont see how they win outright. steelers last week did what they do best, run & defend. the browns defense wont be able to handle them right now.

REason i am going large on the over in this game... little stat called
T.O.P for the cleveland defense..

guess how many minutes the cleveland defense spent on the field on sunday....28? 30? 32? may be 34.....keep guessing bro, 35 keep going..

37 whole minutes...LMAo..

thats almost an extra quarter of football the cleveland browns had to play on sunday..(standard should be no more than 30 mins) Each quarter statistically should be 7 mins 30 seconds for the defense..

cleveland defense played 5 quarters worth of defense and should be kinda soft and pudgy in the middle when they meet the Steelers.

I am gonna check this out and see how it works all season long.

the other team that had their defense on the field for 37 mins was the 9ers.

They play Seattle. I dont like Seattle's WR situation so that game cant be properly handicapped with so much in the air.

Here is the conclusion about week 1; Texas is a bad team, and they really only scored 3 points for 90% of the game. Texas Scoring 2 TD in the 4th was a gift for week 2 and gives us a much much better line. This line should be -10 1/2

There are things you can improve in a week like catching more passes, not making tackles; but you cant improve pass rushing in one week agenst a top 3 best D-FENCE in Football. And pitt D is much much faster and disaplined then a beat up Dall D with pac con man drawing flags every other play.

I have the over at 46.5 for pitt. I know that these guys hate each other but... why are you guys so high on it? Just cuz the CLE defense blows?

yea, im not sure either, usually they play pretty close minus the 41 pt debacle.

PurebedroomBully, exactly my point. pitt will do what they do best, throw short passes and run. keep the cle d on the field as long as possible and then the offense has to rely on the passing game, which no team wants to do.

Sean Jones will be out at least a month with a knee injury, and fellow safety Brodney Pool missed the opener with a concussion. He's questionable against Pittsburgh.

well said, i am amazed at how people have completely changed their perception of teams based on just one game.

Key Players Lost
C LeCharles Bentley
CB Leigh Bodden (Det)
CB Ricardo Colclough (Car)
DE Simon Fraser (Atl)
DE Orpheus Roye
LB Matt Stewart (Ari)
LB Chaun Thompson (Hou)
CB Kenny Wright

and after last week they are even thinner on D and they are still learning the intricacies of Romeo Crennel’s 3-4 scheme

and with no Antwan Peek; this is not the team we saw in 2007 on the defensive side.

Cleveland's defense was horrible last year (ranked 30th in the NFL) but they still somehow managed to cover 7 out of 8 games at home and were a great home underdog. Their defense against Dallas was no worst than their defense last year but their offense was obviously nowhere near where it was last year. Most of their wins last year were high-scoring wins in spite of their pathetic defense.

This is what I dont understand either. Why are we even talking about the browns defense anyway. They are who we thought they were. Shaun Rodgers will help a little. But since we did bring up the Browns defense did anybody notice they only gave up 7 points to a high power offense right. Also the steelers crushed a texans team who hadnt proved anything yet but everyone was guessing they would step up this year, and they beat them at home. i cant believe that 97% of the public will take a road team in a division grudge match game. I hope i can get the browns at 7.

Good post. Cleveland's defense was awful last year but they still covered all but one of their home games.

Steelers will score at will. Browns will have to score 24+ to cover. Steelers were the #1 ranked defense in the league last year and look much better this year with a healthy Aaron Smith and Polamolu - and Woodley and Timmons flying around making plays. Edwards, Stallworth, and Anderson missed a lot of practice time the last month, Lewis is banged up - Browns O not in sync at all. Steelers have beaten the Browns 9 straight times. Browns still not yet on the Steelers level. Think the Steelers open up a can on the Brownies this weekend and take an early stranglehold on the division.

Thank you Jim., I agree with you 99%.. I actualy think Lewis is in pretty good shape this season, he stil has brutal power but has lost a step; with Andersons lack of mobilty at this point in the season pitt will stack the box and the steel curtain will stomp everything in their path. Good to see another stong handycapper on Pitt.

The condition for tonight are atrochiose in Cleveland and may cripple the passing game, when the line came out I saw Pitts advantage in the passing game would make the difference , with the inclement weather I think it will come down to disaplin and a war at the line of scrimmage, Clevland has one good pass rusher , isolate him and Pts stable of back will rip though the dogs like a hot knife through butter.
