Disagree. It is amazing how when a team loses people say things like this. I swear if Louisville lost today people would say that they were never as good as people thought. All teams lose games, even great teams. Pit was outplayed yesterday. It is that simple. Overall Pitt is the better team, but they just ran into a hot Villanova team. Just my opinion.

The difference between pitt and the final 4 teams is that the remaining teams everybody contributes on the floor. Pitt does not have that.

Watching Pitt all year, the games were always close, it is just how they play. So, their Tourney games being close is no surprise and then to lose on a buzzer beater is not shocking either....
But to say they are the worse number one ever is comical. And dullisional.
They lost to a great NOVA team that will play with either of the other number ones, believe me. and Pitt lost by a bucket....when they were actually up 4 with minutes to go
I would advise you watch a little more basketball and dont make ridiculous comments like the above...

the game changed on Dixon's turnover as Pitt could have extended the lead to 6 or 7 with 2.5' left and Nova would have been done.
Unfortunately the shooting guard position on Pitt is not final 4 worthy and cost them badly, especially yesterday. It's fine not to get points out of Biggs but when Dixon/Gibbs/Wannamaker combine for 0 three pointers and 2/12 from the field plus a ton of fouls and tunovers, it's tough to overcome.

pitt lost to a VERY good team on a last second shot, that easily could have been missed...they almost threw theinbounds pass away, it was caught and tipped over to a running player, who scooted down court, and just laid it in as time expires...not like they got blown out or anything....pitt was as deserving of a #1 seed as any one else who could have got it
Hard for me to say anyone from the big east is a fake this year. Took a big east team to knock them out. The real frauds this year were the pac-10 and big 10. Now those were the jokes of the ncaa tourny. Big east should have gotten 9 teams in and less from big 10. That is the biggest joke of the year little 10 getting 7 teams in the same as big east.

It took villanova to shoot 22 of 23 from the line just to be in the game, otherwise the last second shot would have been meaningless..if you want to talk over rated look at the acc
