I like the Hall tomorrow night. First off Seton Hall is 10-1 at home and playing great of late. Secondly this will be Pitt's second road game within a 2 day period and they should not have beaten ND last night except that Francis got hurt and then Pitt took advantage of the Irish not having any inside presence. I will be on this game for at least 5 units on Monday.

5 Units Pittsburgh +1.5 -109

Defense will take center court in this Big East battle. Pittsburgh allows 39% shooting and holds teams to 56 ppg, while Seton Hall allows 38% shooting and 63 ppg. The Pitt Panthers (22-1) and UConn have a single defeat in Big East play. Pitt likes the muscle game with 6'-7" Chevon Troutman, 6'-10" freshman Chris Taft (7.2 rpg) and 6'-10" junior Mark McCarroll up front, while Julius Page (12.7 ppg) and sophomore Carl Krauser (14.6 ppg) handle the offense. Krauser scored 19 points, Julius Page had 17 and the fourth-ranked Panthers overcame a 13-point first-half deficit to win 66-58 Saturday at Notre Dame. Pittsburgh made just one of its first eight shots and trailed 15-2 early, but didn't panic. Pitt is 5-1 SU/4-1 ATS on the road, while Seton Hall (15-5 SU, 12-5 ATS) is 10-1 SU/7-2 ATS at home. The surprising Pirates will throw 6'-8" sophomore Kelly Whitney and 6'-6" junior Andre Sweet to try and muscle the glass with mighty Pitt, while sparkplug senior guard Andre Barrett (17.5 ppg, 6.4 apg) directs the offense. Seton Hall is 11-3 SU/10-4 ATS as a favorite, but 1-2 SU/2-1 ATS as a dog. A year ago, the home team went 2-0 SU/ATS, with Seton Hall winning 73-61 on this court. I'm taken Pit +1 in a really close game

Dante:

Tough call. First, let me say that I have underestimated Seton Hall most of the year. That being said, if I play this game and that is a big if, my lean is to Pitt primarily because they continue to play consistent hard nosed defense, rebound strong, and pass the ball until they get a good look before taking a shot. Free throws can be a concern down the stretch however. They are a very coached team that executes throughout the game and doesn't get rattled, witness the game yesterday against Notre Dame and previous game against Connecticut. You can count on solid play the whole game with good decisions. All of that being said, wouldn't surprise me to see Seton Hall win. Like I said, I have been on the wrong side of the Hall more than the right side.

I'll be at the game and will most likely be on the Hall. That would be a fan perspective just to have something on the game. It would be unranked over ranked system play if the line is -1.5

One more thing that I forgot to mention is that Pitt might be looking ahead to the rematch of the one team that beat them earlier in the year. They play UCONN next and I think it might be tough on the Panthers to not look at the Husky game since they are the only team so far to knock them off. The Pirates at home will beat the Panthers.

IMO

Just to add that the opening line at the Stardust was Even. Realize the current line at Pinnacle is -1.5.
