A couple other reasons are also keeping this total from being 45-48 at half. Pitt chewing 7-min off the clock and not scoring with 5-plays inside the 3. Ref's inadvertent whistle. Missed XP. Pitt going for it on 4th-and-10 rather than kick FG.
Be careful on the UNDER... as the only reason this total is at 30 despite what I said above is that Pitt thinks they can run the ball... IF/WHEN they realize they can score at will by passing, then those 7-minute drives become 2-minute drives.
ALSO... if UVA scores early in 3Q, Pitt might run a little less and play some catchup ball.
