I don't see what everyone see's in the Steelers? sub standard defense and outside of two attacking threats nothing in offense. BB will advice the perfect game plan and the Patriots will win this one by 10+.
Quoting so I don't repeat any of those points. The Steelers are 1-5 against the Pats since 2010 with that one win coming at home in 2011, around six years ago with completely different rosters so that game probably isn't even relevant. Sure, I want the pats to win the game, but from a capping perspective there is no way in hell this is a "lock" or slam dunk at Gillette. I'm not disrespecting PIT, I think they are a great team. But let's call it like it is. Throwing the word "lock" against the Pats this year at Gillete is just as disrespectful. Can PIT win outright? Sure, small chance. Lock? Nope. You don't "lock" in money line bets against teams with equal or better power ratings (however you do yours, they should be close) on the road. Ultimately it doesn't matter because when people post stuff like this, if the team wins they come in to tell everyone they are the next coming of handicapping gods and when they lose they just dissapear. I'm not saying you're that guy but you kind of had it coming with your title. Not sure why one would be so confident about this. NE's home record is ridiculous, Brady's record vs Pitt is ridiculous, and Pitt's offense was dreadful in the endzone -- which is right up the Pat's alley as the #1 scoring defense.
The Pat's match up well vs the Steelers... McCourty can provide safety help on Brown with Ryan, or they can use Butler who has given as good as he has gotten vs Brown. The Pat's are a good run defense and that is an area where they have played a lot of talent this year. They haven't played a lot of good QB,s but BB has handled Big Ben throughout his career.
I am not saying it is impossible. Pitt has explosive offensive talent. But a ML lock for Pitt? I would want a bigger return on that than 2-1 -- the Pat's are 50-1 in their last 51 home games vs AFC opponents.
Its scary to fade the pats off such a dog performance, but I have said all season, the only team capable of beating ne in ne is playing them this week.
Obvious the hfa and bellichek v tomlin, and the refs all favor ne, but i give pitts a very good chance to go in and win that game.
Giving me double the money seems generous.
Lol nothing on offense outside of bell and brown? How about the best O line left? And a slot receiver that could start on just about any team in the nfl. Eli Rogers
