pitt is a 3 seed and st. joes is a 1? if they played on a neutral court, what would the line be? i'd say pitt -4.

St Joes would be -2 or 2 1/2 over Pitt.

Pitt is a very nice team, best 3 seed Ive ever seen!

You mean pitt got screwed; whisky gets a home court game against them if both win. Whisky's seeding means nothing w/ a home court advantage; just look at previous tourneys.
Coach's will tell you they'd rather have the court, than the higher seed.

I am over being ticked off about it. They got a raw deal and maybe that will work to their advantage. Having to play at Wisconsin sucks but I think they win that game rather easily. It is one thing to have dropped to a third seed, it is another to play at Wisky, but the worst part is having a potential matchup with Okie State who is the best 2 seed.

It is abundantly clear that the committee weighs your non-conference schedule as the #1 factor by far. Bama, Georgia, & Florida State are not cupcakes but it is not Michigan State's non-conference schedule either.

Oh Well, Go PITT!!!!!!!

Pitt is a little overrated. They play good defense, but a lot of times they can't find the bucket. I give Wisky a chance.

PITT did get screwed ....... first off, there is no way in the world Maryland should be a # 4 seed (11 losses)....absolutely ridiculous...

Wisconsin should be a # 4 seed and should never be hosting this potential secound round game in the first place....goes to show how far the committee is up the ACC's @$##$......

Lets analyze a little further.....Pitt lost 4 games by a combined 8 points or so:

Uconn - 2x (preseason #1 team and would still be #1 if Okafor was healthy all year)

Syracuse - defending national champions

Seton Hall - Big East rival in double overtime on road.....

Occasionally, Pitt does go into some scoring droughts, but they are as strong physically as any team in the country, and the interior passing by their big men is somethin to watch.......they can adjust to any style and would be at least a 4 point favorite over St Joes on a neutral court....

Pitt is by far the strongest 3 seed and will have a nice run to San Antonio.....and hopefully will be cutting down the nets.....
