Amazing how every year everyone says how bad a head coach Wannstedt is but now everyone and their mother is hyping them this year. Could very well fall flat on the expectations.

McCoy is a top 5 RB in the country. Look for Jonathan Baldwin to have a big year as a freshman. If they get solid play from the QB position they could have a great offense. Defense is still shaky though. Tulsa beat Bowling Green 63-7 last year in their bowl game. Pitt's the better team. Hopefully they'll play like it.

I say Pitt wins in blowout fashinon...I look for Pitt to be challenging WVU at the end of the year for Big East bragging rights

I believe BG is returning all 11 starters on offense. Might be something to think about.

Why the lol...I didn't make this statement but it is almost accurate...U got Wells, Moreno, Jarvis, Johnson and a few others but McCoy is worthy of top 10 RB talk...He's a stud and future Heisman hopeful if he stays around...I see him having a huge year and then moving onto Sundays though...maybe not this year, but he is not a 4 yr player...I could be wrong but if he does stick around for 3 more years he is going to be holding onto a lot of Pitt records...reminds me of a certain someone that played at USC a few years ago

I rarely look at Pitt in the role of a fav. I just got a problem with DW and his track history of gameday decisions. That said, if BG brings their famous matador defense, Pitt should cruise to an easy win.

incorrect. this is a young offensive line that will go against Pitt's strength, the D line. Look for Romeus and Sheard to be one of the best DE tandems in the nation and against new MAC-caliber OT's they will have a field day

Bowling Green will have to find a way to replace three starters from last season’s offensive line that allowed just 32 sacks in 13 games in 2007. Gone are Rimington Award finalist Kory Lichtensteiger, along with both tackle positions in Drew Nystrom and Kevin Huelsman. Returning for 2008 will be both starting guards, Brandon Curtis and Shane Steffy. Tyler Donahue, Jeff Fink, Aaron Kent and Brady Minturn all saw some action in 2007, while the Falcons also added five newcomers in their 2008 recruiting class to add much needed depth.

yes i don't think pitt will blow them out (30+) but I'd be surprised it they didn't cover. way too strong on both lines. something like 37-17 or 34-13 I'd say
