Of course there are obviously more pitchers compared to QB's going pro, but which league percentage-wise sees the most big prospects flop?

just based on sheer numbers, i think it would have to be pitchers, not only failing talent wise, but injuries, etc....

I would say pitchers because most that are drafted don't ever get to the major leagues.

Sheer numbers say pitchers. In dollars invested, 1st-round qbs easily over pitchers.

Rate of failure has to be much higher for QBs

For overhyped prospects, because there are so many more pitchers, there are so many more opportunities for them to put together decent careers even if they go through slumps

I would say pitchers. There are many, many 1st round picks that haven't amounted to anything.

Also, keep in mind an arm injury can really derail a pitcher, where as a qb can comeback much easier.

1st round pitchers don't make that much, especially ones coming out of college.
