With Ben Wallace and Chauncy Billups back the Pistons of old showed up tonite. They held the T-Wolves to 85 points en route to a 93-85 win at Aurburn Hills. Billups, who missed the Pistons' loss in Utah with a sprained ankle, had 15 of his 21 points in the third quarter. Wallace was out two games because of a death in his family, returned to help Detroit hold Minnesota scoreless during a key six-minute stretch of the fourth. He had 7 points and 10 boards.

they sure did serve notice. they looked sluggish in the first half since they were just back from their road trip but ended up covering the -4.5 convincingly after putting the clamps down. great game.

I always loved the way Ben Wallace plays....if he moves to Pittsburgh they could have two Big Bens...and Dante would be even happier, if thats possible. (Beware the Falcons, Dante) The Birds are flying your way; see you in the Superbowl. We should wager General's lunch money?

i thought mcdeyss would be more of an impact, but he isnt. basically the same group of guys from last year they just have more expierence now.

its almost safe to say darko is a total bust becuase he's not a rookie anymore and guess what, he still isnt playing. they wouldnt have brought in mcdeyss if there was any hope for him. its too bad, becuase hes a great kid.

McDyess is not the same player..he doesn't have the freakish athleticism since the injury...really never livedup to his potential at all...

Before he could really take off he got hurt, never the same...hard to believe he is already just a roll player.

Tough to judge based on that game. TWolves were playing on consecutive nights, last night was on the road. They just played a tough game against Miami and Detroit was well-rested.
