Not taking this based on trends. The only one really favoring my pick is that the Celtics are sliding ATS. But the Celts are in the ATS slide at the same time Garnett & Scalambrine got hurt. I mean they lost to the Clippers for crying out loud. & Indiana without Granger & Dunleavy kept it inside 10 on friday.

Pistons, on the other hand, just solved one of their biggest problems - Iverson is hurt & is not even traveling with the team. Although there is no public press about this i am certain the loss of AI in the locker room is improving the morale of the Pistons, which was confirmed by their upset win in Orlando, which broke a losing streak.

This line is too high considering Boston is not playing 100%, & the Pistons sent their Jinx home. I think the Stones keep this close & might get the W.

Iverson looms large in the pistons woes. IMO the only reason Hamilton was benched was to stoke the ego of Iverson, who is incapable of accepting he sucks now & he is a backup, not a starter in the NBA. There was a time that AI could lead a team to a championship but those days are gone & it just happens when you get old. With him off the court i can easily see the pistons going on a run. They can get back to the things that made them successful like team offense & strong defense.

gl, too many ppl on Pistons scared me off this one.

Vegas is destined to get 3 times more celtic money than piston money, & they hoisted a big line to maximize their odds of taking the celtics money away from the players. I think Vegas has a good shot at getting it. Could be wrong, Pistons suck. But celts have little scoring past pierce allen & house. Rondo is inconsistent.

I also like the Pistons here... No KG there is no excuse whatsoever for SHEED not to have a big game today-- being it is against Boston and on the road I expect him not to be as lethargic as he would on an average day.

Great value in the points, the Pistons play better on the road than at home anyway and this group is used to competing in a hostile environment. Paul Pierce also dealing with a thumb injury...PISTONS KEEP IT CLOSE!!!!!! GL guys. :toast: :money8:
