Total Points by Richard Hamilton (DET)
241 Over 20.5 Pts +126
242 Under 20.5 Pts -142 (Pinn)

Guarded by Kobe instead of gimpy Jason Kidd or ancient Reggie Miller "Rip" will continue to struggle to score tonight. Unfortunately it looks like Pinnacle feels the same way (witness -42 cent under). I like Hamilton under 20 points at reasonable juice - time to shop.

For the Lakers, this game is virtually must win. L.A. has failed to cover its last three home playoff games off covering its previous six home playoff games. Detroit enters with a comfort zone off winning game one. I don't believe the Pistons energy level will be able to match L.A.'s tonight. I'm laying 7.5. As for the series, imo, Pistons rate a decent shot to upset L.A. (ihbwb)

Wil, how do you see it?

Vegasports - I agree the game is huge for the Lakers. That said, I am not convinced they can do a whole lot about it. These words may come back to haunt me, but this series could be one of those "Go figure" things where the Pistons just have an un-forseen superiority. Fans want to say the Pacers were lousy and the Pistons were supposed to beat them, well maybe the Pacers were as good as their regular season record indicated, and the new Rasheed Wallace Pistons were just a lot better. The depth factor is also key, not to mention defensive match-ups. Another Detroit win would not surprise me.

Yea Wil, I hear you, I see it somewhat the same way. The game being huge doesn't mean jack if you can't come up huge. I believe the talented home standing Lakers step on the gas tonight. Ask Jack, he'll tell you it's so. At any rate, my bet is in. Hope all is well.

(I'm not a Laker's fan by any stretch. Go figure)

It's really 1 team vs 5 guys. You have the Lakers trying to take advantage of matchups in the triangle and you have Pistons setting picks and rotating and collapsing on D. Anyone see Corlis walk around Fox for rebs?

If the NBA has any true fans left they must be rooting for the Pistons.
