Great price for Maholm here...but the problem is if he doesn't go at least 8 innings, the pen will surely do their best to give up any lead. Even if the Pirates have a 1 or 2 run lead going into the 9th, Capps is still out so it will be a close your eyes and hope for the best attempt to close out the game. Chavez started good but he has lost his touch, Yates is absolutely terrible, and Grabow would be the best bet but he always has potential to get lit up.

Just hope Maholm can go all 9!

Probably because Pitt has been playing like shit as of late and and Mets have been hott. I know its based on whos pitching . I am taking the over counting on both pens sucking it up late. Good luck

Pirates aren't hitting and their bullpen has a whopping 7.07 ERA.
Putting money on them at this time no matter who's the starting pitcher is like jumping into the ocean without a life jacket!!
