i am going to give you some unsolicited advice...

i will get straight to the point, you need to close up shop ASAP...the reason i say this doesnt have anything to do with you stiffing (allegedly i guess) a player..

when you first posted here around last november i believe, you made it obvious that you didnt have a clue on how to make book..
and it is starting to show, by your own admission you put up weak numbers!!! jeez man if thats not waving a white flag i dont know what is...

you are open season......you my friend are becoming world famous........as the easiest out in a long time.......

if you dont know how to book, it doesnt matter what your limits are.......

its like this Pino, you are in a no win situation, you are chum in shark infested waters...

you are a day late and a dollar short.......

sharps will beat you out of 10k.....then you decide to cut their play.....hello!!!!! its too late then ..

be warned there will be some heavy hitters on the prowl in the next few weeks, so that smile you get when you see the deposits pour in, may turn to a frown real quick, when your bookmaking skills get blasted..

this game is way to tough nowadays, you will see that im telling you the gospel truth..

in your heart, you know i'm right

your scared to move your lines arent ya???

son, if you have everybody on a dime....your lines should be moving back and forth so much you shouldnt even post lines on your website. people would get dizzy watching 4s go to 5s

Give me a break. It is obvious you do not have a clue how this business works. Everyone gets thier lines from somone. Most opening lines come from LVSC. We had a situation and it was corrected last fall. I was the first to admit that we had a problem and am the first to admit that it seems to have been corected by mid December 2002. Having moved onto new software 2 months earlier it was to be expected that we would have a few problems. As far as the easiest out, there are over 150 books that post our numbers so therefore the easiest out statement becomes pretty watered down. And by the way we will be having this same arguement next year and the year after that. By the way 6 weeks do not make a losing season and I have not had a losing season to date. So what was the reason to close down again. I think I missed your point. As for our limits, they reflect the type of out we are. If you want to bet over a dime I guess we are not for you.

Pino has no idea what is going on. When I get back from Vegas and post his e-mails (between him and the player) you will see what I mean. This guy is totally lost. His excuse for being a stiff is others bet the same side of the game so they were obviously in cahoots. Had to be part of a big betting syndicate with their $300 plays, LOL. According to him the one sided action he got had nothing to do with the number he had hung and left up there, that was immaterial. What Pino noticed is everyone played the same side, because of that the players were cheating and will not be paid. I don't think he was joking either.

What isn't a joking matter is this guy is a laydown now and I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE to not leave any money in this account. There is no way these books Pino owns can make it. These first stiff jobs will be the tip of the iceberg. Don't say you weren't warned.

PINO......i will admit that sometimes when i try to convey my opinion on something it seems to make sense to me......but others have problems with it.......most likely my fault....

but in this case i will try to be as silly as you were with your responses.

first of all you are absolutely correct.. i have no idea how YOUR business works, and its safe to say that no one else does either..your the only book i know that would move from -2' to -2 just cause another book did....even though your action is all -2'

you say everyone gets their lines (opening) from someone...yes i get mine from the line-fairy she leaves it under my pillow at the start of the week...with strict instructions to keep the same numbers as one of the elite books on the D.B. screen.....(i used to keep the same # as Fort knox but i just didnt like the way cowboys -6 +128 sounded....but thats another story)

the line-fairy told me no matter what action i was taking always do like Pino, afterall his book is your book right???

you say 150 books post your lines???? sorry id rather use the lines from last years sports section...that would make about as much sense

i have outs like you, and i go to extremes to make nice-nice with them, i milk it for all its worth....because it wont last long....but sooner or later your sloppy or nonexistent book work will bite you on the ass big-time...

if i actually thought i could bet at you and get paid.....i would keep my mouth shut ......but the getting payed option seems to be in jeopardy.

there are only two bookmakers that i had the nerve to call out....and critize....but it was on a principle issue, but i have no problem flaming you...because i would rather have a hard of hearing, number trans-posing clerk working my book than you....

What I THINK Pino is saying is that since his site is a Futurebet site, he gets the odds that they send to him, the same odds that the other 150 Futurebet sites receive. I don't think he has a lot of say in the matter.

I believe it is a similar situation as with the Starnet / World Gaming books, where Sports.com, SportingbetUSA, SportsBook.com, Linesmaker, and the rest of them all receive the same line feed.

There's always next year, like in 75, 90-93, 99 &

I don't know Pino at all, but it seems like the RX is NOT his target audience. Like it or not the players here are mostly pretty sharp guys ... if nothing else we all (i think) understand the value of line shopping and would be VERY UNLIKELY to fade a number with value.

GL to Pino - I think he's barking up the wrong tree here though.

What interests me most is that I figured out that this Pino was a joke after his first post. How come it takes everyone else so long to discover?

Have you read this thread General??? As many of us have said ever since Pino started posting at TheRx, he is nothing but a stiff.

In this situation with Lakerfan, he is already stiffed. So, it cant get worse, or could it? Double stiff

There are only 3 possible outcomes:

1. If he is scalping and wins at Pino's book, he will surely be double stiffed.

2. If he is scalping and wins at another book, he is happy.

3. If he is not scalping and happens to win at Pino's book, he will surely be double stiffed.

Pino,

You need to buy some ads here. I'm sick of hearing your name more than the paid advertisers here.

Kev,
Prices are ridicules. Look at some of these jokers. Who would want them as clients. Comps to Rx posters (only)in 2002 $5,587.88 . Total bailouts much more. So who is the stiff. If this isite was more supportive who knows. I got ridiculed here for even offering a bailout. That did not stop some from taking me up on it.
