This guys (let's call him Jim) sends me an email. Asks me what I can do if he sends me $4000 per month in business. We agree on a number. Jim ends up getting $350. After a few weeks there is a pattern of betting from a group of different players. Jim is betting $40,000 for the month of November his first month. The first 13 days of Decemebr he wagers $22,119.00 I call him on the 13th to question him on the betting and if he is part of a group. He tells me he has no clue what I am talking about. He reduced his betting overnight. He bet $6580 for the last 18 days of December and down to $2640 for all of January down to $1540 in February. Jim will say that was because I reduced his limits but he had many bets under $500 anyways. So reducing it from $1000 should not have had that much effect. I told him that I am looking into the problem and would keep his limit at $300 (I believe) until I resolved the problem. I let him know that we do not tolerate syndicate betting or professional betting as my site is not large enough to handle professional betting on all the same games and all on the same side. He assures me that he does not have a clue about what I am talking about. I then ask Futurebet to look at the logs on the wagers and at what time they came in prior to line changes from LVSC. The bets came in on the same games minutes apart and minutes before we got our line changes from LVSC. In most cases the lines that changed the most were the ones this group took. Now everyone could say they were steam plays but some of these games did not even show up on the Don Best feed. The same game the same time and usually for the same amount. So this guy knew I was looking into it.
Rule # 7.
Player's participation in the Gaming System is personal and not professional.
These rules are to protect both the player and the house. I could have kept all his money if it was still in his account. Unfortunately it was not. We did not tolerate this activity but he continued betting but only sporadically as he began withdrawing all his money in small amounts. Logs don't lie. People do. All I was able to salvage was a measly $953. Yes maybe I would have been better of to pay and shut up but he did piss me of with his complaints and his emails and I felt that this guy is really trying to take me for a sucker. No one likes to admit they were taken for any amount of money but I don’t like being taken advantage of either. You may all ridicule the small limits I imposed and how could any group try to play for such small amounts and at a small shop. Well if they did what they did at my shop at 10 others for the same amount they would have made half a mil. Not bad for 3 months work.
I also questioned Docdekay. He can confirm this. I cut his limit also but could not really tie him in. He got paid in full. Futurebet is not the fastest processors but you can all ask him how much he cashed out and how long it took him to get paid. Don't take my word for it.
