Pinnacle Problems

I can't access their home page. Could anyone provide a link please. It's been this way for 12 hours now for me. I've tried typing in pinnacleports.com and trying to get there from the bannor here at the RX and I keep getting a dns error. Anyone else ever had this problem?

If you can't access their website with these two links then the problem is on your end with your computer or maybe in your area! They work fine (THESE 2 LINKS) for me!

I emailed them and they are asking for my ip address? How do I find this? I'm not very computer savy.

What version of Windows?

Go to a MS-DOS prompt and type in ipconfig

Click the start button > goto RUN > type "command" and click enter > type "ipconfig" and click enter

this should list your IP

If it is a DNS ERROR this means that you re computer is somehow not hooking into your network source.

Are you using pin or pin2? If you don't underdstand then nevermind.

Hit man,
You can go to your "Start Menu" click "Run.." then type "cmd" in the box and click "OK".

A little black window will pop up, in this windom type "ipconfig" and press <enter> .. this will tell you your IP (of course, if you're inside of a private LAN then you'll get an internal IP) ...

fuk it, just click on Slash's link (or General's of www.whatismyip.com ) and that will tell you your external IP (which is all that Pin cares about).

Yeah I got in touch with them. They said they were blocking my ip address because "the IP address that you use has been the originating source of accounts using robotic tools." Last night I was in their website and they had a cbb game go "offline" so I was feverishly clicking the refresh button because I wanted to see the move right when it came back up. I guess they mistook me for a dns hacker so they blocked my ip address. They sent me an email saying that if I "advise this type of activity will cease" they will unblock my ip address. So I sent them back an email apologizing and I promised not to do these activites again. So they sent me back an email saying that they have fowarded my email to the aprropriate dept and so now I'm waiting for them to let me back in.

Have you been using robotic tools? Thats almost always the reason.

I don't even know what a "robotic tool" is. I chalk it up to my clicking the refresh button about 100 times a minute.
