I have seen debates back and forth about their business model and how they can turn a profit at minus 105. Well debate no more. The bottom line is that they have the BEST handicappers in the world in every sport working for them. Combine that with the best professional gamblers playing them, and what do you have? You have the sharpest line in the world! What is my conclusion? And how does this translate into $$ for you? It is as easy as pie. If you look back on all your time at Pinnacle, try and remember all of the bets that you have made there where you were plus 101 or better. I will guarantee that you have lost those at a 58%or higher clip. Why is the plus side always the wrong side? It is the wrong side because they have 105 juice, and they are begging you to bet that side when they are minus 112 or higher on the favorite. You can make good money by finding these spots where they have the high plus juice on the dog and go out and bet the favorite with your other outs. Believe me, save yourself the coin, do not play the dogs there when they are plus 101 or higher, as you are on the wrong side. I have analyzed this for a very long time, and this is basically irrefutable. For those who think my theory is idiotic, continue to take the plus money at Pinnacle and you can continue to wonder as I did like a Moron why i always have to fund my account there like the black hole that it is. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that people should not play there. Pinnacle remains my #1 out. However, in the spots where you are getting like plus 103 on a painted #, you should stay away or go out and bet the other side with another book. I hope this helps some of you, as it took me too long to figure this out. When I finally did figure this out, I stopped losing all the time there, and actually think I have a chance to beat them from time to time!

Sat 7/3 105 Montreal Alouettes -3 +102 -154 OVER 48 -105
04:00 PM 106 Toronto +3 -112 +139 UNDER 48 -105

I guess the argo's + the 3 at home is the smart play here then...

Funny, I guess I am a sucker but I like the alouettes in this position....they will be playing in the dome & will not have any trouble executing their superior offence. I guess I am a sucker

No, invariably if I am scalping, Pinny has that + adjust one one side, that is the side that loses...Not sure if it is key to success, but at times I feel like I am wasting my money on the Pinny side...Best Wishes...OF

Stop wasting your time with scalps at Pinnacle and just let the other side of the scalp ride...you will NOT lose in the long run.

I would think you have to be a bit more careful though. Seems that sometimes Pinny doesn't want to move off of a number until they absolutely have to and that would account for some of the instances. If you see a plus money and the screen you use shows a lot of places with the number a half point up or down, then I would say that would be a case where you should tread carefully and not assume it is a Pinny opinion, but just a betting public opinion in general.

What about all the times when the line is at -4+102 in the AM and then +4+102 in the PM? And this happens a lot. Does the "right side "depend on when you are looking at it? I can't seem to figure out how the opposite side could be a 58% in the AM and then a 58% play the other way in the PM.

By the way, I think you are on to something to something in a small way. But in my opinion the only reason why this may work, and to the extent to which it does work, is because they are usually on the right side of a line move. What does this mean here? It means if you use this strategy very EARLY with the opening line or shortly after then this works becuase you are often getting a number that will end up being significantly better than the closing number. But if you are betting this way just before the game then you are missing the boat. Their late lines with +'s are not necessarily leans at all but are often titled back the other way to balance the action up a bit.

So if you're going to employ this strategy then you need to do it the right way.

Just my opinion.

By the way, I primarily scalp and middle with Pinnacle (and ocassionaly bet when they have the best #), have been doing so for 2.5 years and it is currently the most profitable book that I've ever played it. I've heard others say just the opposite but that's how it is for me. So if I had never placed those scalp/middle bets there I'd be quite a bit poorer. Maybe I"m somehow in the minority. And yeah, I've had days where it seems like they just knew what was going to happen, but I've also had days just the opposite. I dunno.

I was referring to a painted # elsewhere. In other words, i was saying that they have a strong opinion when the Don best screen is painted 6 flat, and pinny has plus 6 plus 103 on the dog. I am certainly not saying that the dog side always loses. And yes, I have won plenty of games when i am betting with plus 102 or no juice. However, if i look at the long run, the dog side with them is a losing prop.

Fish a guy comes here and gives a great hypothesis of what he feels and you come on like a know it all and say that you have known this for years. Well, if you have and know all about it then what the heck are you doing here 80 plus hours a week for a few bucks an hour when you could be just traveling the globe and spending all your cash from your extensive betting skills. Or better yet you could be putting in the hours you spend here making money betting all day long.

Sorry dude! It's just that some things you say are so out there it is hard to believe that it is really you posting.
