Anybody playing any offshore books that can compete with Pinnacle on US race tracks?

A couple of key questions to ask:

1) is the book reputable? Pinnacle is highly thought of and gives great odds/service on its non-horse wagering services.

2) does the book limit payouts vs. the payouts at the tracks? Run from such offshore books -- they can only justify this player abuse by their selfish greed.

3) does the book provide plenty of tracks to wager from? I play Bowmans.com horses once in a while but they limit payouts and offer only the key tracks. I use Bowmans-horses because I use the football wagering services.

Players should use the best book. I have found Pinnacle is simply the best. I am all ears on any other views. But please address my above concerns if you have found such a book.

If one is looking for a US horse book - I highly recommend brisbet.com. They are terrific: great service, all the tracks, great software layout, free programs with any wagers on that specific track, etc.

Send lawyers, guns, and money.

There is no doubt in my mind. With a 7% rebate and just about full track odds, Pinnancle is the best way to play the Ponies.
The only drawback is there withdrawls. They only allow one free WD a month.

Sonny2003: The withdrawl issue is alright with me. I am focused upon good odds and with a legitimate book that doesn't disappear overnight.

Some of these outfits you wonder if they are one day away from disconnnecting the phone line.
Pinnacle is always rated tops by folks who rate these books.

Betfair is better than pinnacle for horses all round. Only good for canadians however as don't accept US customers but way better than Pinnacle. Pinnacle probably the best option otherwise but you know there gonna start screwing you once they have killed of the regular sport book competition - betfair's 1-2% juice on horse racing is there to stay!

This is an interesting question....I'll bet you the answer is in the legalese of the book. Thought provoking question because if I hit a Pick Six and nobody hit it at the track, what do I get? An atta-boy, but sorry there is no cash involved...

Hey Idjit,

Why didn't you respond in the main forum?

Someone is supposed to take racing advice from a guy that doesn't even know that WPS=win, place & show?

Really?????????????????????????

Betfair have exacta, trifecta, pik3 or p6 wagering? How about place and show?

You're a close minded idiot, and regardless of what anyone else posts you keep livin' in that fantasy world.

Listen you maliscious little jerk off,

they have offered reduced juice in sports for years, and they have NEVER ONCE IN THE HISTORY OF THE COMPANY BACKED OFF AN OFFER.

so take your stupid betfair propaganda parade to some other dump.

have to agree, pinnacle is the shits........where else can you get 7% rebate with no min or max action per week. everywhere I see is 3% to 5%. this is a big edge to sharp cappers that pick their spots ( see mazeltrick) in this forum as example.

Bottom line for me is Pinnacle offers good value, excellent reputation, and is an offshore book that will pay out a significant payout albeit not 100% of what a large P6/P4/Superfecta may pay at the track.

Nobody better in my mind.

hey sodium - I've been involved with many horse racing pros in the UK and a pro won't even look at exacta, trifecta, pick 3 etc betting. if those are the sort of MUG bets you want to do and want other people to do and lose money then you're right stick to betting with rebates at Pinnacle.
A pro who wants to make money at horse racing is interested in win bets and sometimes place, show bets. In the UK they call this each way betting. Further they are interested in getting the best odds. I challenge you to compare Betfair's odds to Pinnacles odds on ANY US horserace and tell me whose odds are better. I'm talking about the odds say a minute or so before the off where better will be trading at about 1% juice with about $70K matched on each race.
If that makes me an Idjit then I'm happy to stay that way - don't make me embarass you you by putting some comparisons up - check it out for yourself and swallow your foolish pride. I'm not saying Pinnacle is a bad book by any means it probably is the best of a poor lot but you can't argue with the facts.
